When Tyler was home, he... Well, he started cleaning. He cleaned the living room, and the kitchen, and worked on the bathroom when his roommate Kai got home. "HONEYYY I'M HOMEEEE!!!" Kai yelled out, setting his backpack down next to the door. Tyler chuckled and said, "Hey, how was school?" He got up and walked out of the bathroom, ducking under the doorway. "Eh. Same old same old. Really boring. I think I slept through physics." Tyler gestured to his backpack, "If you want you can grab my physics notebook and copy my notes down. We have the same class, just different hours." Kai grabbed the notebook, "Thanks dude, you're a lifesaver." Tyler started scrubbing the kitchen counter, "No problem, I mean, what are friends for?" Kai chuckled and turned into his room, waved at Tyler then closed his door.

It was late in the day, 4:00, and Tyler had to head to school. He grabbed his keys, told Kai he'd be back by six, then drove to college. He arrived at the college and settled into his class. As the hours passed by, Tyler thought about his conversation with Kai, chuckling to himself about his absent-mindedness.

He was bored. Normally his animation class was one of his favorites, but... He just couldn't bring himself to lift the damn pen to the tablet and pay attention. He twirled the pen in his hand as he stared out the window. He thought about the girl who flirted with him that morning. He chuckled to himself, still finding it funny that she hadn't taken the hint that he was not into her. He hummed to himself, looking down at his watch- which read 5:50-, and thought, 'class is ending soon. Should I grab some take out for Kai?' He walked out of class when it ended, and texted Kai.

Kai (Roommate)

Hey man, want me to get some take-out?

hell yea dude! I was getting hungry lmao

You're always hungry

What do you want?

think you can get me a burrito from that Mexican place on 3rd?

Yeah sure. Beans and rice, with sour cream?

OH tell them to give us extra salsa

Potato puhtado

Tyler headed to the said Mexican restaurant and ordered Kai his burrito and himself some chicken enchiladas. While he was waiting for his order, he saw the guy from the coffee shop, with the blue hair, who just went up to the counter. He heard the blue-haired guy talking to the person who worked there in Spanish.

Tyler didn't understand jack shit. But he listened, as the blue-haired guy's voice was almost... Soothing?- To listen to when he spoke in Spanish. After a while, he was startled out of his daze by a hand touching his shoulder. "Hey good looking." He heard someone say.

He looked up and saw the blue-haired guy smiling down at him. Tyler, who never stuttered, stuttered out, "u-uh... hi?" Blue-haired guy giggled, which made Tyler melt a little. "So, what're you up to? Stalking me?" Blue-haired guy wiggled his eyebrows. Tyler, the ever-poetic man, said, "uh-um... no?" he cleared his throat, "I was getting food for me and my roommate." The blue-haired guy nodded, then turned when Tyler's name was called. "Looks like I gotta go, I'll see around uh..." "Ash." Tyler smiled, "Okay, I'll see you around, Ash." He grabbed his food, looked back at Ash, and gave him a small wave as he left.

When he got in the car, he pulled out his phone to check his messages.

Kai (Roommate)

are you done getting the food yetttttt

Yeah just got done, heading home now.

He opened the door to his apartment to find Kai already there, sitting on the couch. "Hey, you got the food? Let me see," Kai said as Tyler set the bag down on the kitchen table. Tyler smiled as he pulled out the burrito and handed it to his roommate. "Here you go. Extra salsa, just like you asked for," Tyler said. Kai smiled and took a bite before looking up at Tyler. "Thanks, buddy. I really appreciate it." Tyler smiled and nodded before turning to the kitchen table. He opened the bag and pulled out the enchiladas. "I got these for myself," he said, taking a bite. 

As he ate, he couldn't help but think about the blue-haired guy. He quickly shook off the thought and focused on his food. "So, how was class today?" Kai asked. Tyler smiled and turned to him. "It was alright," he said. "I was weirdly bored though. I dont really know why." He thought about it for a moment. "Maybe it was because of what happened after class," he continued, his mind drifting back to the blue-haired guy. He told Kai the story, blushing a little as he recalled the exchange. Kai laughed and shook his head. "You always get so flustered around cute guys," he said, still chuckling. "But hey, it's a good sign. You should definitely go talk to him again. Who knows, you might end up making a new friend." Tyler smiled and nodded, feeling a little more confident. He was going to make sure to talk to Ash again soon.

When done eating, he immediately went to his desk and turned on the computer, planning to draw and write the most recent comic he'd been working on for the better part of the night. Then that he did.
