Finding You

Chapter 6

"Once we pulled up to my house I realized my car was in my driveway, I looked at Aloni and realized she must've got my car towed back to my house for me so I thanked her."

"No problem Ky'ceon, my uncle is a tow driver so the cost was free, I know you'd need your car so it was really no biggie, honestly."

"We'll still thank you still. Exiting the car I jogged to Aloni side and opened her door for her, got my keys out and opened my house door. I allowed her to walk in first and I followed behind, once we got inside I told her to take off her shoes and make herself at home.

"Wow Ky'ceon your house is beautiful, how many rooms do you have in here?

" I have a 4 bedrooms, nothing to big or crazy, I actually own this home too, I'm not renting, but I do have 2 others homes I own that I rent out.

"How was you able to even afford all of this Ky'ceon?" How old are you? I never really got to ask you that.

" I'm 28, I started working at a warehouse when I was 18 making 18hrly doing forklift and I was 18 and my parents just told me to save, work and focus on school so that's what I did. Everything I got paid I gave my whole check to my pops and he put it in an account he had open up for me since I was like 3 years old. My parents was putting me money aside for me and I did warehouse work for like 8 years and I saved up over 200k. Brought my first home paid off, then when to trucking school saved up for a year, brought me a warehouse and got some employees and it took off, I now own 3 warehouses, one for wal-mart, one for Target and the other for one for dollar tree.

"Wow, Ky that's amazing, I'm proud of you! You could've been in the streets but you chose a different life and I commend you for that."

"I appreciate you mamas, have a seat get comfortable, the tv remote is on the table watch whatever you like and put your feet up and relax Ima go and take a quick shower and start cooking soon."

"As Ky'ceon went up stairs I started to snoop a little, you know how Is Women can get. I looked at the pictures on the wall. I seen a picture with a beautiful woman a handsome man, Ky'ceon was in the middle and it was a beautiful girl and another boy that looked just like Ky'ceon. I'm thinking this must be his family. I just decided to go back to the sofa I turned the tv on and put my wife and kids on from Netflix I absolutely love that show I can watch it repeatedly all day long and react every episode."

"Before I know it I put my feet up took the little blanket he had laying across the chair and drifted off to sleep."

*30 Mins Later*

Ky'Ceon*

"I come downstairs from my shower just to see Aloni knocked out and my wife and kids playing on the tv, I walked over to her pulled the cover up over her body and just let her sleep because I know she been saying  that she was tired from working so much."

" Walking into the kitchen I decided to do my thang. I pulled out some steak I had marinating in the fridge for a couple of days cause I was planning on cooking it yesterday but so much happened so this is the perfect time, I got some potatoes out cut them up into small pieces and paired them with some mushrooms and onions, onion power, accent, slap ya mama, and creole seasoning in a pan and let them cook on low."

I got another pan and put it on medium heat with some oil in the pan seasoned my meat and let it simmer for about 15 mins on both sides then I the steak up nicely, I plated everything then poured some of my homemade watermelon lemonade in 2 glasses, washed my hands and walked in over to Aloni woke her up cause it was now time to eat.

*ALONI*

I felt someone gently shake me and I instantly woke up and realized that I was not in my house that I was in Ky house. I can't believe I fell asleep at this man house, anything could've happened to me and I'm just falling asleep in unknown places, I can't even believe myself right now."
