chapter 4 ✧ school

Josuke pov

As I woke up I turned and saw y/n curled next to me "what a dork" I said before patting her on the head and getting up "I gotta fix my hair before y/n see's me with messy hair again" I said as I went in her bedroom and looked through her thing "aha here we go" I said as I found a comb and some hair gel

After I got done fixing my hair I heard a cute small yawn from outside the bathroom "oh y/n you're awake" I said as I walked over to them with a dumb smile "morning josuke" she said in a groggy voice"today is a school day so you have to get ready" she said softly as she rubbed her dry eyes "nah don't worry I have some clothes over here" I said as I patted the bag next to her bed

She smiled "change in the bathroom and I'll change in my room" she said as she got up and stretched

Without saying anything I headed to the bathroom with my clothes and closed the door

Y/n pov

As I finished changing I knocked on the door "I'm done changing josuke" as I said that the door opened immediately "god you girls take forever to change!" He said in a impatient tone

I laughed softly "okay whatever you say" I said as I walked away with my bag "come on you don't want to be late" I said as I grabbed his hand and lead him out my bedroom door "but your dad might see me" he said with a worry sum face "don't worry my dad's at work" I laughed

As we entered the school i felt all eyes on me and Josuke "yo man did you bag y/n?" Some boy said with a idiotic smile "what no! Where did you get some idea like that" josuke said as he left my grip "don't lie josuke the proof is all around the school" the guy said as he showed him a video on his phone

"You were just carrying y/n around bridal style to your place" he said with a dumb laugh "she was hurt so I patched her up! We aren't even friends and especially not partners!" As josuke said that my heart shattered even though I already knew that

I ran off to the bathroom and covered my face with my hands "why am I upset he is right we aren't anything" I said to myself as I fought back the tears

As I was getting up I heard a knock "look I didn't mean what I said back there I was just stressed from all the questions...you know you are a really cool nice smart person and I would be more than happy if you was my friend" I heard josuke say with a small quiet voice "you don't have to be though I'll just leave that for you to decide" as just like that I heard him walk away

As I finally find my composure I walk out the bathroom and go to my class

"Y/n you are late!" Mrs Jane said with a sturn look on her face "I'm sorry Mrs Jane it won't happen again" I said as I sat down, placing my face in my arms

"Hey y/n do you want to hang out after school?" One of my friends said with a smile "uh sure but where?" I said as I looked up at her "just a walk or something" as she said that I saw something off about her "yeah sure I'll go" as I said that i felt like I just made the worse decision of my life
