context: it's the 4th of july! y/n and her boyfriend, minho, decided to go see the fireworks!
"you almost ready babe?" minho called out from downstairs.
"yeah almost! be there in a sec!" y/n said as she threw on one of minho's sweaters. she loved wearing his clothes. y/n put on some of her favorite lip gloss before heading downstairs.
minho and y/n made eye contact as she walked down the stairs.

"ready to go?"
"yep!" y/n replied back before placing a peck on his lips. minho blushed.
TIMESKIP
context: minho and y/n reached the park where they would be watching the fireworks. they're sitting down on a blanket together, waiting for the fireworks to start.
"let's take a picture minho!" as y/n raised her arm out to snap a picture, minho kissed y/n on the cheek. y/n looked at minho and smiled. just then a spark shot up into the air. the fireworks had started!
y/n was in awe. endless amounts of bursts of color, none quite like the other, showing up in the sky.
"aren't they pretty?!" y/n asked minho, thinking he was watching too.
"yes.. very." he said. his head was turned to the side and he had a smile on his face. he wasn't talking about the fireworks... he was talking about her.
y/n felt a pair of eyes on her during the whole firework show."which firework was your favorite?!" y/n asked him after the show.
minho choked *on air lol* "uhm.. i liked.. the purple ones! yeah those were pretty."
"mhm! the purple ones were cool" y/n winked and smiled to herself. there weren't any purple fireworks...
y/n went to sleep that night happy to know that her boyfriend found her prettier than fireworks. :)
