The two now newly formed acquaintances continued to walk through the dirt path.
"So, Since I told you my name. What's yours?"
Mao Jinhai asked curiously. Shen Guangli looked at him, his eyes showed annoyance but also hesitation. He then sighed softly and replied,
"I will not tell you my name. If you wish to refer to me as my real name or even my courtesy name, you have to keep your word about guiding me through the forest first."
"Hmph..Alright, I'll just call you, princess until then~" Mao Jinhai said teasingly.
"Wh-What?! Why that?! I'm not a princess!" Shen Guangli was surprised and just protested in anger.
"Ehh?? Sure you are! Pretty face, Elegant clothes, and pink accessories! A Princess."
Mao Jinhai said,he couldn't help but tease the angry disciple. Shen Guangli just rolled his eyes and huffs. He then replies,"Shut it."
He then walked a little faster, his ears slightly red and he was pouting and crossing his arms. Yet, Mao Jinhai hasn't noticed it because he was too busy chuckling as he followed Shen Guangli.

Five days later, the two travelers arrive in a small town nestled at the base of a mountain range. The town is beaming with activity, as merchants and vendors set up their stalls while customers mill about, haggling over prices and exchanging goods. The streets are dusty and crowded, and the air is thick with the smells of cooking food and sweat.Mao Jinhai and Shen Guangli make their way through the bustling market, pausing to admire the wares of a vendor selling beautiful hand-fans and hair accessories.
"So, Princess. Gonna tell me your name yet?~" Mao Jinhai said, remembering what their little deal was.
Shen Guangli nods "My courtesy name is Shen Xianliang."
"Ehh!? Why your courtesy name only?"
"I don't trust you with my real name.." Shen Guangli simply replied with a serious tone and Mao Jinhai just felt dissatisfied but just kept his silence.
Soon, however, Jinhai's attention soon focused back on the hand-fans and seemed interested to buy one.
Shen Guangli noticed and sighed, feeling a bit bad he had to rely on someone who is a complete stranger just to guide him all the way here and yet he hasn't done anything or given anything to the stranger, so he decided to ask,
"You want one don't you?.."
"H-Huh? Oh yeah hah, I do. But.."
"But?" Shen Guangli said, raising a brow
"I left my money pouch.." Jinhai said, Sounding disappointed to himself.
".. You are..an idiot. How does one even leave their money pouch?" Shen Guangli says, his voice laced with judgment and maybe confusion.
"Ehe~ guess I just have to buy it another time. Anyways, I think this should be the moment I say farewell." Jinhai said, Having an awkward smile plastered across his face.
Guangli sighed, he looks at the yellow and black hand-fan. He then decided to purchase it unexpectedly, and then gave it to the stranger who helped him get into town, before finally saying,
"Farewell, and thank you."
Mao Jinhai was surprised, his cheeks turned pink and he responded,
"You're welcome.."
They soon parted ways..
