Chapter 6 - It's my new brother!

      "We're back," Their parents said.

     "We're.....back," another cute voice can be heard from their parents back, hiding. The they were quite curious on who that is. But anyway, they need to greet their parents first of all.

     "Welcome home, mother, father," they all said while standing and gesturing them to sit.

     "Alright, just start the dinner everyone," Father Lu the took his wife and their little son to their seats. But at a glance, there's no extra chair for Lu Ming Lei. Father Lu then clapped his hand, and suddenly the maids brought a chair and all the table ware were added besides mother Lu. 

     "This actions shocked the people who were watching, including their family chef. It is understandable for his wife to sit beside him. But what about that kid. Who is he actually? They all thought the same thing. Especially Lu Jiang Lei, who got stared by his wife fiercely. 

     Yan Rui couldn't take it anymore and stand up abruptly. She face her father-in-law and asked what are his purpose for taking in the boy here. Lu Zhang Lei raised his eyebrows and frown deeply. He replied to her and said that Lu Ming Lei is and always be their family member since he was born. 

     She can't help shaking in rage when she heard those words and felt heart broken. She still thought that the boy is her husband's illegitimate son. How silly of her. 

     Jiang Lei knew what was coming and tried to calm her down. Saying that Lu Ming Lei is not his son whatsoever. Even if he is, he will not hesitate to cut ties with Ming Lei. "Although I feel hesitate to cut ties with this cute kid, but what can I do if my wife forbids me to take him in, too bad, I wanted him to stay and spoils him rotten," He thought in himself dazedly. 

     His wife beside him didn't know what he is thinking right now. "Maybe he took a liking to the boy, will he," she thought, frowning. It's not like she hated Lu Ming Lei, but it's just can't be helped if she's thinking too much. She has experienced too much hardship with all Jiang Lei's ex's.

     Father Lu overheard what his son and his daughter-in-law are talking about and immediately burst out. "What do you mean your son!?" All of the people present were startled and  looked at him, including his other two sons, Lu Zhou Lei and Lu Yuqing.

     They both rarely talked during dinner or making eye contact. So, when they looked up facing their father, they suddenly in awe struck from the cuteness of the boy who were sitting beside their lovely mother. "Who is that?," they thought while glancing at each other as if giving a signal. They were honestly known as the trouble maker in the family when they were younger. 

     "Father, calm down! He's not my son! I swear, I've never had an affair after marriage!" Jiang Lei was madly afraid of his father that he always lost his coolness infront of his own father. Maybe that is why he trying to look scary like Father Lu. Family genetic is quite strong. 

     "Father! Even if you acknowledge him as your grandson, I will try to accept your idea. But just don't bring the mistress and ask Jiang Lei to marry that woman!" Yan Rui said with red moist eyes.   

     "I'am getting a lot of headache right now, what's  going on inside their head to imagined something wild?!" Father Lu sighed and tried to calm down.

    With a sinister smile, he lightly said "Of course I would never let him marry other woman my dear daughter-in-law, didn't I treat you like my daughter all these year, have I not?" 

     "If I caught your husband cheating on you, I'll straight away cut down his balls!" Jiang Lei's face turned pale like a sheet of paper. And when Lu Zhou Lei and Lu Yuqing heard what their father said to their eldest brother, they gulped down their throat.

     "That is true.." She felt happy to have a caring family-in-law like them. She faced down to hide her red eyes.

     "And as for you!" Father Lu coldly pointed at his eldest son who is a having a cold sweat from earlier.

     "Yes- yes father?" Jiang Lei stuttered at his word.

     "Who said this is your son?!" He was in rage because no one can take his youngest son! No Way! Not again! This has happened before, some of his old friends wanted to adopt Lu Ming Lei because of his good look and adorableness.

     "Not- not mine??"

     "Of course! He is My son!" He exclaimed, making all of them astonished by the sudden announcement.
