I was devastated. Lucas was with another girl. A girl that...that wasn't me. Why would I ever think Lucas could like me. I looked to my side...I saw Missy. She was looking at Lucas & Willøw too. She looked almost as sad as I was.
Missy : What are you looking at freak
Me : Nothing
Missy : Looks like Lucas invited a lot of people
I turned my head around letting tears run down my face.
Missy : Im not in the mood for a sob fest so why don't you go home and go back to your suicide attemps.
I walked away from Missy crying. Meanwhile with Lucas & Willow...
Lucas : Sorry I Uh
He was getting ready to leave the hot tub.
Willøw : Oh so do you want to take this inside
Lucas : No just...back off please

I was looking for Riley when I finally found her.
Me : Okay I wanna go Riles
Riley : In a minute I just found out Luke Ross might be coming so just a few more minutes please?!
She left. I looked back at her. I wasn't going to wait for Riley to leave I'm leaving no matter what. I sat on a bench outside of Darby's house and called my mom.
Me : Hey mom
Katie (Mom) : It's only 9:15pm don't tell me you want me to pick you up already
Me : Um no...I was just calling because um the party is Uh so awesome we might be a while
I hanged up. So I'm just going to sit here all alone all night. Then I saw someone coming out the door...it was Farkle. He looked like he was getting ready to leave.
Farkle : Hey what are you doing out here
Me : I Uh I don't know? So what are you doing
Farkle : Leaving
He started walked down the steps when he turned around.
Farkle : Hey do you want to walk home with me
Me : Please
I got up & started to walk home with him. Meanwhile back at the party...
Lucas was inside all alone. He wasn't in the hot tub anymore making out with Willow. Instead he took out the small robot action figure I gave him. He looked at it. Tears started to come out his face. He wasn't alright.

Meanwhile me & Farkle were walking home & things weren't bad at all. Infact were talking and laughing.
Me : So Darby refuses to make out with you but she'll do that
Farkle : Yep and get ready to pee in your pants because it was wrapped in spongebob wrapping paper
I laughed so hard. He laughed too.
Me : Oh my gosh that's genius
Farkle : I can't believe I just told you that
Me : Well I'm glad you did
Farkle : Why
Me : It means you trust me
Farkle : You're very easy to talk to
Me : I was just thinking the same thing.
We looked at Eachother for a moment. I smiled. He smiled.
Farkle : So why did you bail on the party
Me : Well Uh...It sucked
Farkle : Agreed
I giggled alittle.
Farkle : Oh I forgot to mention the part of the story where I completely bloted does that like make me a jerk
Me : I don't know
Then I got a text. A text from Lucas. It said "Missing you Maya😞Why did you go?" I put my phone away trying to avoid the text. I've only spent very little time with Farkle & I knew a lot of things about him. Some things I didn't really wanted to know about.
Farkle : Hey do you have to be home right away?
Me : I have a few hours to kill
And just like that we left. Things were changing for me. Who knows what the future might hold,but one thing's for sure...my life in the middle school has just begun.
