"The hot glowing surface
expands quickly making
the fireball brighter again.
In a few days it will be 10x
the size of the original star."

The court room was filled to the brink with family and friends of the accused and deceased, with news reporters sitting in the back eager to fill there pin pads and recorders with information about the infamous Lake Michigan murder suicide.

Nova and Hana sat together with a strong grip on each others hand. Strangely enough they grew fond of each other over the past few days. realizing the issue wasn't skin color but the well being of the one they both cared about.

Nova parents sat beside her while Antonio Giovanni and Andre sat in between Giselle Maria and Nahmari on the bench behind them.

Darius sat on the other side where the family and friends of the deceased were. He didn't know Daisuke that well to be here for him. But his dad was the defense attorney for the trail. He would never admit it but deep down he hoped his dad would win. Prove that Daisuke was a bad guy the worst of the worst. So maybe then he could have a chance with Nova.

The courtroom grew anxious as they watched Daisuke walk down the isle draped in a all orange jumpsuit for Nova this was her first time seeing him in anything other than black or white and she started to grow found of his usual attire if it mean he wasn't behind bars.

The court settles as the Jude bangs his gavel to call for opening statements and the defense attorney calmly walks over to the jury.

Nova couldn't shake the eery resemblance he held to Daisuke. He was a tall Asian man with clean cut black hair and a shaven face. He looked just how Daisuke would if he was older and didn't have piercings.

But Hana on the other hand recognized him immediately when they locked eyes both showcasing their realization. whether it be changed name or changed appearance she would always be able to recognize her first love, the father to her child, her one and only husband.

She was shocked but that didn't overwhelm her sadness. She wanted to cry begging for explanation on how is he still alive, did he fake everything to get away from her? But she was also relieved he was still alive. She could still see him, hear him, feel him. Despite everything Hana still loved him.

"Fact, Mr.Lee was there with Amir when he went missing." Mark starts off his statement calmly.
Fact, Amir was the perfect target for someone who has no morals. Fact, Daisuke killed him because he hated him."

Daisuke looks directly at the attorney feeling a twinge of familiarity he couldn't quite figure out why. His memory was telling him that he was someone from his past but all the faces that were held there were now fogged and forgotten somehow.

"Fact, Mr.Lee was angry And in his anger and rage, he lashed out killing an innocent boy with a family and life he never got to live. And my last and most definite Fact is, Mr.Lee is a murder."

Mark only took the trail because he knew that it was his son. He came into the court room with the intention of losing. Although it was immoral, he didn't care if his son did it or not he just wanted him to be free it was the least he could do after everything.

Mark loved his son so deeply he was willing to do anything to make amends even if that meant losing a trail on purpose. His love grew as the time passed but the regret of leaving and abusing Daisuke festered and became his greatest emotion.
