A/N: This was suggested by a reader and I loved the idea, so I wrote it! Slight TW: mildly suggestive content, mild self-harm? (Kinda but not rly?) anxiety

Jay wasn't an idiot.

He did and said some very, very stupid things sometimes. But he wasn't actually dumb. So when Nari continued to somewhat avoid him, almost walking on eggshells it seemed, he noticed.

Who could blame her, though? He knew it was his fault in the end after the way he'd treated her because of some stupid sasaeng. Her words continued to ring in his head; he'd made someone he loved think of herself as a whore, and every time he remembered that fact he felt like he was going to be sick.

Sunoo, on the other hand, had taken to being directly disgusted with his hyung. He was very forward with his emotions, so even if it was through small acts or facial expressions, Jay knew the younger boy was still very upset with him.

Nari's self confidence has also taken a blow.

While she normally felt fine doing stages or dance practices or even the occasional live with a crop top on, she felt like her skin was crawling now at even the thought of being exposed.

Jungwon had been doing his best to hold her together, reassuring her that he loved her, and they were okay, and that nothing could ever change the fact that he wanted to be with her.

But he wasn't ignorant, and he knew that no amount of words or hugs would truly heal the wound that he'd also contributed to. It filled him with shame when he remembered that night, the way he'd distanced himself from her when she needed him most.

The entire group was still dealing with the emotional blow of what had happened. The only ones she wasn't seemingly cautious around were Heeseung, Jake, Niki, and Sunoo.

Even Sunghoon knew he'd been a jerk that night, because Sunoo was completely right—he loved her, it didn't matter what rumors came out or what she'd done before they met. None of that was really going to change the fact that she was incredibly important to her, so why had he hesitated for even a second to be
comforting instead of judgemental?

"Jagi?" Jungwon mumbled one day, wrapping his arms around Nari's waist in her kitchen. She hummed, letting him rest his head in the crook of her neck as she continued to pour herself a glass of water. "Can we talk?"

She took a sip before putting the glass down and turning to face him. "What's up?" He licked his lips nervously. He knew he wanted to talk, but he had no clue what he actually wanted to say. "You okay?" she asked gently, one hand going to cup his cheek.

He slowly shook his head, swallowing a lump in his throat composed of guilt as her thumb caressed his skin. "What's wrong?" she whispered. Jungwon pursed his lips, averting her gaze.

"I'm so sorry," he breathed. Her body tensed.

"Jungwon, we've been over this—"

"—I know," he mumbled. "But you haven't...you're still distant." She frowned.

"What do you mean?"
"You called me 'Jungwon.'"

Her heart sank. She hadn't even realized.

"It's...it's not just gonna go away," she sighed. "Just because I don't feel angry toward you anymore doesn't mean the pain isn't still there."

He nodded solemnly, seemingly wanting to say something but holding back. She noticed. "What, love?" Her voice was softer, and the term of endearment made him hold onto her tighter.

"I think you're still angry," he admitted. Before she could interject, he continued. "And I know you think you aren't, and that everything is fine with everyone now, but it's not. You—you're not letting yourself express how you really feel. That's what I think, anyways."
