White walls with long windows to see the whole city out of. A computer desk sat right in front of me. Sitting at that computer desk is my manager, Henry who is currently lecturing me while i'm here in his office. Currently, I've been here for 30 minutes and haven't heard one word from this lecture other than blah blah blah. I'm just calmly sitting there thinking of training and how to improve my craft when my thoughts are cut off by the words fake dating.

"Wait hold on what. I'm gonna need you to repeat that Henry."

"Fake dating. I've been in contact with a fellow friend who is managering this upcoming actor and we've decided this could be mutually beneficial for you both." Henry seems amused by the disbelief on my face.

"No, not happening" I say with a glare on my face directed to Henry.

He sighs and glances at me before turning to type something into his computer. "Do i need to remind you why we are even meeting here in the first place? After what you've put yourself through already, you are in no position to argue back about this decision." He turns his computer screen to me, pulling up the newest trending youtube video titled 'FOOTBALL STAR PABLO GAVI SEEN LASHING OUT ON FEMALE FAN' I sigh when I read the screen. It's been two weeks already and this is still eating away at me.

Putting my palm to my chin I stare at the screen while Henry presses the space button to play the video. Okay I understand that it looks bad but people don't even know what actually happened. The video consists of a clip of a supposed fan coming up to me with flowers and it looks like I just slapped them out of her hand and walked away. I look like a dickhead, trust me I know. But here's what actually happened...

FLASHBACK TO TWO WEEKS AGO

I'm outside of the stadium signing jerseys, lanyards, arms, pretty much just whatever people reach out to me, I sign. I look over to see Pedri waving me to hurry up and get in the car but as I start to walk over there I see a blonde haired girl. There's no way.. The girl approaches me with a smile on her face and flowers in her hand.

"Hi Pablo, I wanted to say how sorry I am for what I did to you..I want you back, please Pablo" She begs me with a pleading look on her face.

"You don't want me back, you want my money." I slap the flowers out of her hands and hurry to sit in the passenger seat of Pedri's car. He slowly turns his head toward me waiting for me to say something but realizing i'm not going to talk he just says

"you ready to go my dear passenger princess?" he tries joking to clear the tension in the air.

Not in the joking mood I give him a slight smile and nod my head while he drives away.

CURRENT

The video finally ends and Henry just looks at me.

"Okay whatever. So what's the plan for this and how is this even going to help me out?"

"Well, it would help because it would show that you actually know how to respect women because right now, people are trying to cancel you by saying you're an anti-feminist who has zero respect for women." It feels as if I'm a little kid who's getting yelled at by my mom for throwing something at my sister.

"You said mutual beneficial so how would this also benefit her?" I'm asking questions and I don't even know who this girl is yet.

"Well Cecilia Altore is the lead in a new movie about a girl who plays football. Her manager is hoping that if she is seen in public dating a footballer, it could help promote her movie about football so it could help you both out." Cecilia Altore, I guess it could be worse.
