Brandt knew you weren't the hugging type, he know this but every time he looks at you he just wants to hug you. Brandt would never say this out loud but he's definitely a hugger. Meanwhile, brandt was waiting by your locker like he always do but you never showed for some reason, brandt just shrugged it off and left with his dustin to his next period but you were still on his mind.
After school brandt waited outside for you because you two always walk home together, since you two are neighbors. When brandt saw you he smiled which instantly fell when he noticed you weren't smiling. "trouble in paradise?" Brandt says, trying to make you smile but it wasn't working. "what's wrong." He added. You just huffed and puffed before answering him, "I got a bad grade on my paper so my teacher made me stay back and do it again." You replied while walking with brandt.
"Is that why you weren't at your locker?" Brandt questioned, you nodded. Brandt thinks of a way to cheer you up, once he did he halted. "why did you stop?" Brandt just looks at you and opens his arms. You furrowed your eyebrows before noticing what he was going. "I know you're not a hugger but it can make you feel b-" brandt was cut off by your arms wrapping around his waist, tightly. Brandt's arms rested on your back, massaging it.
"how long has it been since someone hugged you?" Brandt chuckled. "like a second ago." You joked. Brandt just rolled his eyes and began walking again.
