The Better Half

Dear Friendship

3rd January, 2017. Summer morning. The people of dhaka are now going to their workplace. They seem very busy. The sun shines brightly. Its very hot today. Nafiz is getting ready for going to school. He ate breakfast and get out of his home. He lives in 7th floor in a apartment. He rushed in the 5th floor and nocked to the northern door and yell,
-"Riyad, come out. We will be late. What are you doing inside?"
- "Nafiz, I am coming."
After a while Riyad opens the door.
- "Let's go, Nafiz."
- "Hurry up. Otherwise we will get punishment on the first day."

They quickly go to school. Luckily, they are not late. After sometimes teacher comes. Everyone stands up. A girl comes with the teacher. Everyone's eyes are on her. The teacher said,
- "Hello everyone. Today we will get another student in our class. Her name is Fariya. Let's welcome her."
Every welcomes her. Fariya smiles. She says,
- "Hello, everyone. I am Fariya Tasnim. Nice to meet you. From today, I will be a student of this class. Hope you like my nature and cooperate with me."
- " Fariya, have a seat."
- "Okay, sir."
Fariya seats in a vacant place. Sir starts today's class. Everyone opens their books and copies.
Someone asks Fariya,
- "Are you from Dhaka?"
- "No, I am from Kushtia. My father trunsferred to there."
- "Oh, I see."
- "By the way, who are you?"
- "I am Sneegdha Rahman."
- "Oh, nice name."

During the tiffin break, everyone comes out. Riyad and Nafiz come out and have chat standing on the school corridor.
- "What should we eat today? What do you want to eat, Nafiz?"
- "Riyad, let's eat burger today."
- "Okay. Let's grab pizza also."
- "Okay then. I will get it."
Riyad goes to the canteen and buy burgers and pizzas. Fariya comes out with Sneegdha.
- "Sneegdha, tell me important things about this school."
- "Well, most of the things are similar with other schools. But you need to be disciplined here.If you don't you will be suspended."
- "Is that so?"
- "Yes. Being discipline is a must in this school. You know what, our chairman dismissed four students last week. They were banking classes."
- "Oh, I see. Okay I will be carefully."
Nafiz is at the corridor holding a book onto his hands and dazzlingly looking in it. As for the breeze's fault Nafiz's hair is weaving. Fariya and Sneegdha is walking past him. Fariya didn't notice him at first. Suddenly Nafiz holds Fariya's hand. She becomes surprised. She get to see him. Nafiz is heavenly handsome. He is so charming. She has a crush on him instantly.
- "What are you doing? Why you hold my hand?"
- "You are the new student,right?"
- "Yes, I am."
- "Good to see you. Have you eaten?"
- "No, I won't."
- "Good then. What about join us?"
Sneegdha whispers on Fariya's ears,
- "Say that you are interested."
Fariya smiles. She accepts the proposal of Nafiz. Riyad comes  back with lunch. He says hello to Fariya.
- "Hello, Fariya. How is your first day going?"
- "It's going well."
- "Do you want to join us?"
- "Nafiz already asked me and I accepted."
- "Oh, that's good."
They went to eat. They invited Sneegdha but she has some business to do. They eat and gossip. Nafiz and Riyad tells Fariya many things about this school.
- "Fariya, although you will be in this school for two years you need to know many things. Our chairman hates being indiscipline."
- "I know. Sneegdha has already told me about that. I will be careful, Riyad."
- "Okay, that's good."
They finished their food. The tiffin break is about to end.
- "Fariya, we are in this school from one grade. In those years we stayed happily with new students. We always be friends with new students. So, if you don't mind we want to be friends with you." - Riyad
- "Yes, Fariya. You are good at studying. We can be a group and  study together." - Nafiz
Fariya starred at them. She thinks that it might be a huge opportunity for her. She smiles and agree to be their friend.

[Epilogue]

Fariya came into the class with the teacher. He introduced her. Everyone welcomed her. She was beautiful. Her smile is so charming. Riyad fall for her at the first sight. Her smile is very bright. Riyad can't help but look at her.
- "Nafiz, isn't she pretty?"
- "I think so."
- "How about be friends with her. As we always do with new students?"
- "Okay, let's do it."
Nafiz is very happy. He likes her very much.

When Riyad hold Fariya's hand Nafiz saw it. He became a bit sad. He can't understand his feelings. He became angry and go back for buy water.
