The Science Experiment
A shrill cry echoed in the mist. "Did you hear that?" asked Amanda. "Yes, I did and I don't want to know where it came from." I replied. " I knew exploring this old abandoned science lab on a foggy creepy night was a bad idea. No, you don't listen to me! Don't you know an experiment went horribly wrong here." she squealed.
We continued to creep around the empty halls. Graffiti on every wall, some of the ceiling collapsed and everything was completely destroyed. Suddenly we heard a thud against a window. "Did you hear that?" she asked. "Amanda stop it please!" I yelled and continued to slowly walk into a room. Inside were broken pieces of glass, blood splatters on the wall and huge rusted parts of a machine. "Do you think this is where that monster thing was created?" I questioned but Amanda didn't answer. Amanda wasn't anywhere.
Out of nowhere I heard her scream. I followed it and saw Amanda wrapped in black slimy tentacles. "Do something!" I heard her muffle shriek. I picked up a plank lying near by and threw it at the tentacle. It wriggled a bit and she was just able to escape. We ran out the doors being chased by two tentacles and angry roars. "Did you just hit that it with a plank? It must have been a stick for that thing." she said as she ran. "We'll talk about this later Amanda!" I screamed with my heart racing.
"Cut!" yelled a voice. The lights turned on, people swarmed around us re-doing our make up and the director corrected, "It's 'Not now Amanda! We'll talk about it later!' Alright, got it? Now get ready and we'll take it from the top. Lights, camera and action!"
