Noah's words hung in the air, leaving a heavy silence between us. His loving words didn't give me comfort but a deep sense of unease . I needed answers, but I also feared what I might uncover.

"I want to trust you more than anything , Noah," I finally managed to say, my voice shaky. "What is it, things are not the same as it used to be."

Noah's gaze dropped to the ground, and his grip tightened around my hand. "Lily, I may have had a dark past.. But I promise you, it have nothing to do with us."

His words were meant to reassure me, but doubt gnawed at my heart. The darkness that surrounded him felt tangible, suffocating our once vibrant love. I needed the truth, no matter how painful it might be.

"Tell me everything, Noah," I pleaded, my voice trembling. "I deserve to know. Our love deserves honesty."

Noah's face contorted  with anguish, and for a moment, I saw a glimpse of the darkness he had tried so hard to conceal. "Lily, if I tell you the truth, it could change everything. Are you sure you're ready to hear it?"

I took a deep breath, steeling myself for what lay ahead. "I can't continue living in uncertainty, Noah. I love you, but I need to know who you really are."

With those words, our fragile world teetered on the edge of revelation, and the fate of our love hung in the balance.
