Brendon slammed his fists against the table.
"What am I gonna do? If they find out you're with me, they're gonna kill me!"
"I'm sorry, you're the one who made me agree to this deal!"
"I... let's go take a walk."
"At 9:30?"
"Come on."
Brendon pulled Anna outside.
"I'm tired of you just dragging me around! Like I'm just a dead animal that you're going to eat!"
"Umm, vampire."
"Oh, right."
"But, I'm not going to eat you, yet."
"Brendon, can I ask you something?"
"Go ahead, I'm not stopping you."
"Back at your house, you said you couldn't lose me. Do you, like me?"
"Sure, you're a nice girl, who won't hesitate to put up a fight..."
"Not like that. I mean you have a crush on me."
"That's... true. But even if we got together, I'd have to turn you."
"Let's go back to your place."
They walked back inside, and Anna sat down.
"Anna are you sure? It's going to hurt, a lot."
"Were you turned?"
"Yeah, by Tyler. Afterwards he apologized and said he was a vampire. We were both at the park..."
/Flashback\
Brendon sat down next to Tyler Oakley.
"You're a good friend, Brendon."
"Thanks! You too!"
"I'll be right back."
Tyler got up and hid behind a tree.
Brendon stretched and stood to stretch more.
Tyler ran quickly behind Brendon and covered his eyes with his hands.
He sunk his fangs in Brendon's neck.
Brendon screamed in pain, wishing he could just die.
Tyler stopped, and Brendon fell on the bench.
"I'm sorry, Brendon! I'm a vampire. You're lucky I had the will to stop, or I would have sucked the life right out of you."
"What...the...f*ck..man?"
"I'm so sorry, blood lust."
/Reality\
"I'm lucky he was my friend, or he would have killed me. My days as a fledgling were not easy."
"Fledgling?"
"A vampire who hasn't drunk human blood. I was feeding off rats. Until Tyler told me to just feed on a human and it would be much easier."
Anna felt her neck.
"So you're going to puncture holes in my neck?"
"You can call it that. I'm biting you, not poking you with a huge needle."
Anna closed her eyes. "I'm...ready."
Brendon kissed Anna's neck.
"Squeeze my hand if you have to. Just relax."
Anna relaxed and grabbed Brendon's hand.
"I'm scared, Brendon."
"It's normal. I can't say I can stop easily. I also must add biting you isn't gonna stop the club from questioning you. Are you still sure?"
Anna nodded. "If it means we can be together, I'm still sure."
Brendon placed his face by her neck.
"I love you, I'm sorry." He whispered.
Brendon sunk his fangs in. The blood was warm, and homey.
Anna wanted to scream, to kick, to punch. But she didn't. She loved Brendon, and this meant more than anything.
Brendon stopped, and wiped his lips.
He kissed Anna, and picked her up. He put her on his bed.
"When will I turn?" Anna asked faintly.
"It should happen soon. Now sleep, please. It may be the last time you do."
Brendon sat on the bed, awake.
~How I wish vampires could sleep.~ Brendon thought.
This was gonna be a long night.
(As Patrick Stump would say, the song titles arn't the only things that are long.)(I'm going to put pictures of the people in the vampire club. Anthony looks like a zombie and I couldn't find one of Tyler Oakley, so forgive me. Pete first!)
