"So, with all that... I would like to congratulate you on your offer of joining our business" Mr Hunter spoke, dead serious - he rubbed his thumb against his hand.
"I highly appreciate the offer, Mr Hunter. I have spoken with your respected wife as well, however I'm afraid I will reject this offer.." She said.
He looked her in the eye, as if in disbelief.
"Ms Anderson." He paused. He laid his hands firmly on the table. "Are you in your correct senses? Your rejecting the Domi Hunters' business?"
"I am in full senses, Mr Hunter. I respect this business to a high extent but I'm afraid I can't afford running around as your employee and collecting-"

"It's not about your affordability. You should know very well that we would fulfill all required expenses, it's a rare occasion of us hiring someone, but your quite an appealing charcter." He interuppted, as expected, his usual behaviour.
"I'd suggest you not pressure it on, it's not common of the Hunters to pressure someone and emphasis their need of someone. And as for affordability, perhaps you should spend that money, investing in the business. Something which may come to use for you" She argued,
"Now if I may, I would like to end the meeting -"
"Usually, Ms Anderson... people don't talk back at me." A corner of his mouth lifts. "I highly doubt your fully aware of who exactly I am and what I can do."
"Your correct. I don't know who you are, or what you can do. But Mr Hunter I know one thing for sure, I'm not working for this company." She said, her face straining with stress and frustration.

"Ms Anderson, having you in the business in my opinion will really support us. We will give you your share of benefits and.." He pulled a small booklet from the draw at his legs, riping a page from it and scribbling something down. He held it up to her, her eyes scanning it.
"This will be your salary. I'm certain its way above your expectations."

Bella had in fact, with all honesty never seen that many zeros.

"I have already said, the offer is great, I'm sure anyone would take it. But I am just not in the right circumstances to accept it."

Mr Hunters eyebrow raises, he pauses as if he just knows she is about to apologise and accept the offer. But the silence just becomes painful.
"Very well. Reject the offer. I am certain you will come crawling back." He pauses, scanning her face "but once you leave this room. The offer is gone."

To his surprise, she smiled, a smile of freedom...
"You will not be welcomed to this organisation" He says crossing his arms.
"That is great-"
"It's not, believe me. Bella, I speak to you now as your elder, this will be your biggest mistake yet."
Elder. Mr Hunter never uses these psychological games, his desperacy was visible in his cold blue eyes.
"Mr Hunter. Speaking of elder, I would like to negotiate with the offer."

He raised his eyebrow.
"As much as you want. You just say it"
"What? " Bella stuttered, before she realised he meant the money. "No, no. Mr Hunter, the money is all but fine. More than I could imagine really - what I meant was.. like a contract where I don't really work for you but kind of support you, are you interested?"
Mr Hunter looks down at paper laying before him staring up at his face.
"I will counter, having the contract made by this week. Then you can come back and sign it, if you dare" He smiled.
"Thank you" She said. He nodded.

She reached for the door, walking out with a temporary smile plastered on her face.
