Konig x Y/n (Little Miss Military)

A Nice Tall Man

It was about 8 o'clock when you woke up. You figured you could sleep in a little and pack your stuff in the moring since you don't leave until a little later. You got up and and got the spine shivers from the freezing cold floors first thing in the morning. You changed out of your night clothes and got out your work clothes.

Once you dressed you decided to pack your things up excpet for a hair brush, toothbrush, and toothpaste. You packed your suitcase with your clothes and papers. Then your duffle bag with your ammo, rifles, handguns, 2 snipers, and a few switchblades for good measure. You started to head towards the half bath in your room to brush your hair and teeth.

You were in the bathroom for a a minute or two when you heard a knock on your door.

"Come in!" you said with a foamy mouth full of toothpaste.

"Hey it's just me." Shepard said while peaking his head through the door making sure you were decent.

You spit out your toothpaste and wiped your mouth on your towl. You turn off the light in the bathroom and opened the door wider so Shepard had more room to come in.

"What's up?

"So you know how I said you'd be leavng at 10 right?"

"Yeah what about it?" you said suspiciously.

"So don't be mad but, it was actually suppossed to be 8:30.." he gulped.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS I ONLY HAVE 10 MINUTES!??!" yelling at him.

"I'm sorry!! I read the letter wrong. Please don't be mad. Here, let me help you with your luggage and lets go say goodbye to the others and make our way to the runway." he said calmly.

"Omg fine, here, you can take my suitcase and I'll carry my duffle bag. Now lets go!" you said urgently.

You both made your way down the stairs quickly and said goodbye to everyone. You walked to the front of the bases gargaes and hoped in a jeep. It took about 2 minutes to get there so it wasn't a long drive.

"Who will I be meeting there?" you asked.

"Price and Konig. They wanted to make sure you get there safe but, there is another man going on the helicopter with you, Alejandro, he's a real gentleman so I'd assume you to will be friends." he said

"Ok cool. I read about him. He's from the Mexican force right?"

"Yep. He's a good friend of the team so you'll see him around a lot and will probably be accompanying you on your mission."

He parked the car on the run way and the both of you hopped out just in time for the helicoptor to land at the same time. You grabbed your stuff from the back and waited for Alejandro to come out of the helicoptor. It was a nice day. Not to hot or cold. You guessed the temp was around the mid 60s to 70s. Alejandro hopped out the helicoptor and made his way over to you guys.

"Hola senorita l/n (last name), como estas?" he said in a chill tone.

"Estoy bien. Y tu?" (im good. how about you)

"Ah veo que hablas español?" (ah you speak spanish?)

"Muy poco pero sigo aprendiendo." (very little but I keep learning)

"Well good I can give you some lessons then. Oh, where are my manners? My name is Alejandro I will be escorting you to the base." he said shocked at himself.

He picked up your hand and gave it a kiss. You looked at Shepard, who was very much so right. He seemed so sweet. Hopefully we can be friends like he said.

"Alright, Y/n I'll see you again soon." Shepard said giving me a hug.

"Love ya kid, be safe out there."

"Love you too, Shep."

You two stayed there for a moment and finally let go. You and Alejandro were heading towards the helicopter as Shepard watched to make sure you were safe. As you borded you gave him a final wave goodbye with watery eyes. As the doors closed and you acsended into air. You took a seat putting your bags down under your seat. You felt youselft grow tired.

"Hey Alejandro?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"Do you mind if I sleep a little? I didn't get much last night going through all the files."

"Of course, I can wake you up when we get there." he said with a small smile.

You nodded yes in repsonse. God he was so sweet. It's official he's my friend now and no one can stop me. You felt your eyes get heavier as you leaned your head against the window. It was a 3 hour long trip so you might as well get some rest. You fell asleep quicker than you thought you would.

"Hey. Listener we've landed." Alejandro shook your shoulder softly.

"Ok thanks." you said with a smile.

You two were hovering above the ground as you grabbed your bags from under the seat. When your guys landed you waited til the propellers stopped so it was safe. You guys got out and said thank you to the person driving. The two of you started walking towards the car the Alejandro pointed to. There were 2 people leaning against the car. One of them started walking up to you. He didn't seem very tall so you assumed that was price. Konig was still leaning against the car with his arms crossed and his mask on.

"Hey glad you could make it. I'm Captain Price and this is Konig." he said while reaching his hand out.

"Nice to meet you I'm Y/n. Im very excited to meet all of you and work along side with you guys." you said as you happily took his hand.

You reached your hand out for Konig but he hesitated and didn't take it. He started fidgeting after that. You made another attempt to talk to him.

"My name's Y/n, I'm very happy to meet you. I guess your my new partner huh." you said with a smile.

"I guess so." he said quietly.

He stopped fidgeting with his hands a couple seconds after that. He also seemed to be less tense. You tended to take it a little slower around him. His file said he had bad social anxiety and was very quiet. You gave him space and wondered if you would get that handshake one day.

"Alright if you have everything, lets get you to base and get you situated." Price said.

All of you hopped in the car. Price driving with Konig in shotgun and you and Alejandro in the back. It was about a 10 minute drive so you made yourself a little more comfortable.

When you arrived at the base, you grabbed your bags out of the back and followed Price to the building. This was going to be where you were staying for god knows how long, so might as well make it work.
