The Dream State

"Elizaaaa! Wake up!" I hear my mother call. I open my eyes and stretch out my arms. I looked around to see that I'm in my old bedroom in Haven.
"Eliza come on, you're going to be late and you know how much Chief Wuornos doesn't like to be kept waiting." My mum walks into my room pulling the curtains open.
"Muuuum. I don't want to go and spend the day bonding with your boyfriend though. I want to go and hang out at the Grey Gull reading my book."
"Come on darling. It's not the whole day." She says sitting down on the edge of my bed moving a strand of hair behind my ear. "And besides, it's not just "bonding". You are getting work experience too."
"Aren't you going to work today?" I ask.
"Yes but I'm working on a case right now."
"Isn't Nathan you're partner?"
"Yes darling but he agreed that you'd get to spend part of the day with him today. Come on you." She says pulling me out of bed. "Let's go get you ready and we'll head to the police station."
And that's what we did. I had a shower, got dressed, ate and brushed my hair and teeth and we headed to the police station.
We passed Dave and Vince on the way to Nathan's office.
"Audrey! I see you've gotten Eliza to finally come and spend some time with the Chief." Dave said to my mother.
"Hello to you to Dave, Vince." I say waving at them.
"Good morning Eliza." Vince greets me.
"Eliza, you head on to Nathan's office and I'll see you tonight, okay?" My mother says to me.
"Yes mum. See you later guys."
I walk through the station till I got to a door labeled 'Chief Wuornos'. I knocked on the door and walked in right away before I got a response.
"Hey Eliza." Nathan says getting up from his desk.
"Hi." I simply reply.
"We just got a call so no time to go over things. I'll explain things as we go along."
And with that, we leave the station in his blue truck and head out. It just so happens that we end up going to the Grey Gull.
I see Duke walk out of the building.
"Ah Nathan. What brings you here to my humble abode?"
Nathan get out of the truck.
"Well it seems that we just got a call....." Nathan went on talking to Duke and I just blocked him out and got out of the truck. I noticed a large crate over on the bar inside the Gull and I walked over out of curiosity and boredom. I open the crate up and notice it had a few trinkets in it, including a simple but beautiful necklace in it. It was on a silver chain and had a fairy type pendent on it. The wings were two white gems. I picked it up and studied it.
"Pretty isn't it?" I hear someone say behind me. I turn around to see Duke and Nathan.
"Yeah and also stolen. Isn't that right Duke?" Accuses Nathan.
"No no. I've got the paper work to show that it's not. I told you I don't buy stolen goods." Duke explains and passes Nathan the papers.
"Wait buy? I thought you didn't buy these things you just deliver them." I ask confused.
"Nope not this time. I bought this crate. Figured the things in it could come in great use some day." He says leaning against the bar.
"Oh well I'm sure they will."
"Come on Eliza. We've got another call to do." Nathan says and we walk back over to the truck. Just as I was about to get in, Duke grabbed my hand.
"Here Eliza," he says passing me a small box, "I want you to have it. It'd look beautiful on you." He then let go of my hand and walked back into the Grey Gull.
Once I got into the truck, Nathan started talking and explaining things to me but I couldn't focus. I was too focused on the small box Duke gave me. I opened it and I saw the fairy necklace inside. I put a hand to my mouth in shock as I admire it. I carefully put on the necklace and am just in awe.
The rest of the time with Nathan went by in a blur and I soon found myself walking back to the Grey Gull with my novel in hand and over to my favourite spot on the deck. As I am about to sit down, I hear screaming and someone ran into me. They knocked me into the weak point in the railing and it breaks, and I fall and hit the water.

I wake up screaming and gasping for air. A man rushes over to me.
"Eliza are you alright? What's wrong? Are you hurt?" He kept asking me.
Rubbing my eyes, I look and see that it's Sam who's talking to me and that we are in a hotel room or something.
"S-Sam?" I managed to get out.
"Dean! She's up now." Sam called out.
"W-what happened?"
"You passed out. We aren't sure why. Is there anything you remember? Anything you saw?" Dean says walking over to us.
"All I can remember is getting out of your car and then all of a sudden I was in Haven again." I say rubbing my head.
"Haven?" Sam asks.
"Yeah that's where I grew up."
"So you had a flash back. Okay what happened in it?" Dean questions.
"Nothing it was just an ordinary day. My mother woke me up, I went to the police station to do some bonding/ work experience with her boyfriend/ the Chief. We went on calls, saw my friend Duke, Duke gave me this, went on more calls then. Oh goodness. Th-then I was pushed over the railing into the h-harbour. That's when I woke up." I say ending in tears. Sam pulled me into a hug.
"Wait he gave you that necklace?" Dean asks.
"Y-yeah he did."
"Hmm okay."
"You said you were pushed. Do you know who pushed you?" Asks Sam.
"No all I know is that I heard a scream and then I was in the water."
"It's alright Eliza. You're okay now. You don't have to worry about that now." He soothes.
"Yeah he's right. We just have to figure out how you got into the back of my car and finish our business in Maple Springs." Dean says flipping through an old journal.
"We'll figure this out Eliza. You'll be back home before you know it." Sam says to me smiling.
"Yeah he's right. But right now we've got things to deal with. Come on let's go Sam."
"What about Eliza?" Sam asks standing up.
"Ugh fine she can come too but just stay in the car please." Dean agrees and leaves the room.
"Okay I will." I say before the door closes and standing up as well. I look down noticing I've got on a pair of sweatpants and tee shirt. Both of which aren't mine and are big on me.
"Sorry we don't have much in the way of girls clothes." Sam says sheepishly.
"It's alright. I'm glad to be in something less revealing now. Thank you Sam." I kiss his cheek gently before heading out of the room in the direction Dean left in. I got into the Impala and buckled myself in. I keep quiet knowing I'm just invited along.
Dean starts up the car and we are off.
