You was running home because of two reasons.
Reason number one.
You was at Luke's house you was helping him with homework since Alice was working and doing research on a new substance she found called mutagen and Kevin well all he does is goof off and you well you ARE smart but more of a fighter really you always get into a fight with either bullies or protecting your friends and sometimes others at your school.
Reason number two.
You had just gotten into a fight with New York scum known as The Purple Dragons again Alice has been doing research about The Purple Dragons 'Oh God why did I have to kick the guy where the sun don't shine?!' You thought 'Well he was trying to r@pe me. But I could have gone all ninja on them or QUIETLY snuck away like my mum taught even if it was a bit.' You kept running Alice told you NOT to get in a fight with them and here you are running for your life from them because you got into a fight with them then you tripped 'Oh no!Sh!t' You thought "Now that you have finished running we can finish what we started" he said he dragged you into an ally and covered your mouth he pinned you against a wall and kissed you "Let her go!" You heard someone yell "Who's there?!Show yourself!" Then out if no where a bō came and knocked him over, The Purple Dragon got scared and ran away like a chicken 'wuss' you thought "Are you ok miss?" Asked the bō man "yeah I am are you ok sir?" You asked "I'm fine he didn't to any physical or mental damage did he?" He asked "No just New York scum trying to r@pe a random girl on the streets." You answered you looked into the shadows where the man stood "Can you please show me who you are?" You asked "I don't think I should you'd get scared a run away and scream." He a said and he sounded disappointed "WHAT?!No I won't you just saved me from being molested by The Purple Dragons." You answered "ok" he replied he stepped out of the shadows and you saw a turtle "OMG. Your a Mutant Red-Eared Slider with Tea green skin with reddish brown eyes and your about 15-16. You even have a Naginata Bō-Staff " you said "Yeah how did you know what species of turtle I am?" He asked " I do my research I'm not smart like my friend Alice who is a complete nerd I'm more of a fighter" you said "well I'm actually 16" he said "What's your name" you asked "my name is Donnatello Hamato or Donnie or Don will do." He said smiling "Like the Renaissance artist name?" You asked he nodded "I'm (Y/F/N) I'm 16 as well" you answered "Donnie!" You both heard someone shout "I got to go (Y/N)" he said "friends?" You asked smirking "No brothers" he said "well bye Donnie hope I cane see you again" you said and waved "same to you." And he jumped up the fire escape.
'What a cute turtle. WHAT?! No don't think like that' you thought then ran home.
