The Next Morning

The next morning the sun started to rise as I look down at a sleeping Jack his head in my lap. I place the book to the side and lightly shook Jack awake. As he opened his eyes I leaned down and kissed his forehead, I sit back up and he stretches. It being a Monday I get up leaving Jack to lay in bed now alone with a pout. I smile before beginning to slip on my pants over my boxers. Next my undershirt with the gloves and mask connected. Then my over hoodie crop top, I then slip on my socks sitting on the edge of the bed and next my shoes. I leave the nude Jack still waking up in the bed alone closing the door behind me.

I walk to the kitchen sighing at the amount of candy I have to clean from when it was just Laughing Jack here. So, I get to work wiping down the dining room table, the chairs the counters and so on before making breakfast. I decide on French toast. I begin cooking it as Slender walks down the stairs and to the kitchen. I peer over before plating the food and setting at the different seats. He watches as I walk off and to everyone's rooms.

First, I open Toby's so I wake him up, then Jeff, BEN, the girls, and so on. I open Jane's room to see her unpacking. I smile at her and tell her breakfast is ready. I was beginning to get worried as she and Liu were out on missions when we transitioned. After I wake everyone, I make my way to my and Jack's room to get him up. I open the door seeing him still lying in bed partially awake. Closing the door behind me I pull up the blanket enough for me to get in. I lay under the blankets my naked boy attaching too me almost immediately. I kiss his forehead wrapping my arms around him. I hum a small tune in hopes of him waking up a bit more. Instead, he goes more into sleep. Chuckling I bring my hand to his head running my fingers through his hair. For someone who can't sleep I sure know how to lull someone to sleep.

I continue gently rubbing my fingers through his hair and speak out "Darling you have to wake up" he groans flipping over his back facing me. I giggle out earning an unseen smile from the tired brunette. He sighed and sat up, I sit up next to him rubbing my knuckles into his skull "There you gooo" I smile watching as he got out of bed putting on a pair of boxers and sweats. My eyes tracking his every move, he begins slipping on a white tank top. He goes to open the door before turning back to face me, "Ready?" I nod and get up following behind him.

We approach the kitchen "Hey Jack you hungry?" He nods and so I approach the fridge grabbing a tub with some kidney in it and a smaller one with a couple of eyes. I kneel down pouring kibble for Smile Dog, I turn and pat Sally on the head seeing as everyone found their seats. "G-Goodmorn-ing" Some smile and some glare at me, blushing a bit I walk away.

Bringing the kidney and eyes into the living room I find Jack sitting on the couch. I hand him his organs as I open mine, we begin eating watching animal planet as per normal. I sit criss cross and clear my throat catching Jack's attention. "So, uhm. I think we might have to be a little quieter next time." He breaks out in a blush choking a bit on his food. BEN approaches and leans on the back of the couch as I pop an eyeball into my mouth holding it there for a moment. "Didn't know you were so vocal Jack. You share a room with a person for months. You think you know them" I begin laughing, choking on my food.

It's at this point that I begin wondering where the ghosts are. They haven't interrupted anything in a long time even though we had a 24 hour break off, they should be back by now. That's the exact moment they came back full swing. Asking questions, quoting books, movies, memes, etc., and stating more facts they found out overnight. They all began conversing among themselves. Ben begins trying to calm them all down as I hold my head everything spinning. I almost gag at how nauseating everything sound is. Jack seems panicked trying to talk to me though it's not making anything better just adding to the chaos and pain. If I had a volume dial at this moment, I would turn them WAAYY down. But sadly, I don't. And this just caused me to keel over and groan holding my skull, digging my nails into the area around my ears.
