"I can't hear another meaningless apology" Those where her last words as she left out of the Highsider bar, it wasn't Spencer and Trina's first fight and it definitely wouldn't be their last, bhut something about this one made spencer's stomach turn. It was the first real fight they had since their time on the Haunted Star. Good memories, he thought. Yea, his crazy uncle was holding them captive but at least they were together for most of it. At least they had time to have heavy make out sessions and sensational dry humping that would've turned into something more had the ship not come to a stop abruptly, he thought. And now he stood here, bruised and beaten because of his stupid decision to punch an ex-soldier.

"Spencer, if you need another ice pack I can make you one. Or maybe you could tell me some old stories about you and the old Esme!" He heard his ex-girlfriend call from outside of his closed door. Apparently NOW she knew the meaning of privacy, he chuckled.

"No Esme I think we've done enough talking for one night. Besides you're gonna be the only one taking care of Ace tonight considering I'm in this...condition I guess." Spencer said already having enough of her for one night. He honestly hoped she didn't think that little conversation that they had meant that he felt anything other than hate for her.

"Well...ok. I guess I'll see you in the morning. Good night!"

Spencer didn't respond. Instead, he went to bed. Maybe if he laid down the pain would go away.

A couple of minutes or hours, he wasn't sure because he had fallen asleep, and he was awoken to the sound of knocking at his door.

"Go away Esme! I'm asleep." Nothing.

Then another knock.

Spencer finally got up, "for the love of god Esme what the fuck do you wan-" He stopped as he was stunned to see who was before his eyes. The woman who took his breath away daily, who he longed for every minute of every second, who needed to be with day and night just so he could breath normally.

"Trina...hi." was all he could say

"Hi" she breathed out.

"what..um...what are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see you! It's just...well the last we left things it was a bit..."

"yea. I know. But, well I had some time to cool off and I know you're probably in a lot of pain so I brought some stuff to help you feel better!" She held up a Walgreens bag full of gauges, alcohol and what looked like pain killers and other things.

"Wow, you didn't have to bring all of this." Spencer said as he opened the room door to let her in.

"well, it's the least I could do. I was kinda...harsh on you earlier."

"No. No you weren't. I'm sorry Trina. I know how you don't like when I act like an ass and I did it anyways and hurt you in the process. It was a really shitty thing to do and I'm sorry."

"Well, you're not the only one to blame. Yes what you did to Dex was rude as fuck but I shouldn't have called you all those names and I definitely shouldn't have left you in the bar alone. It was a fucked up thing to do. So...do you forgive me?" She smirked.

Spencer smiled, "only if you forgive me."

"Deal" She reached out her hand for him to shake it and when she did he pulled her in for a kiss. Trina gasped as his lips collied with hers in what was supposed to be a gentle kiss but turned passionate quickly. He lifted her up and found the nearest wall to pin her on.

The room was full with their moans as they continued to kiss each other sloppily until Trina had to pull away for air.

"we can't do this right now" she breathed "your hurt"
