me and stokeley were currently at the bet awards. i'm nominated for best new artist and i have a performance tonight
i was seated next to ice spice (ifyk yk) and we were just talking waiting for the awards to start
"girl i love your music" i said to her as she turned to me and smiled
"thank you i love yours too" she said with her strong accent
i felt stokeley squeeze my hand indicating that the show was starting which caused my breath to hitch. this was my first time preforming in front of celebrities like this and i was beyond nervous. i didn't even care about the award at this point
"it's gonna be okay baby" he whispered causing me to look at him and smile
"thank you baby i love you" i said puckering my lips to him
"i love you more" he said kissing my lips
the show went on and it was now time for me to get ready to preform. i had to leave my seat twenty minutes before i went on stage to get dressed and stuff.
"okay i gotta go baby" i said to stokeley as he nodded
"good luck" he said kissing my check as i smiled. i got up and made my way backstage to the dressing room
once i made it to the dressing rooms, i put on the white top and pants they had ready for me.
i'm preforming my songs acting brand new, on the floor and area codes (yes i'm mixing songs💀)
when i finished getting ready i made my way to the stage wing to wait to be called
"AND NOW WELCOME TO THE STAGE BIG LATTO" i heard the lady say in the mic

"oh god i can't believe i just did that" i said to myself changing back into my dress and heels
when i finished putting them on, i looked at myself in the mirror before turning around and twerking
"i'm that girl fr" i said to myself and walked out the dressing room
once i made it back to my seat, i was met with stokeley looking at me and smiling
"what?" i said laughing
"i'm so proud of you" he said smiling wider
"aww thank you baby" i said frowning and cupping his face "i'm proud of you too" i said truthfully
"i mea-" he started off as he was cut off by a yelling voice. i turned my head and looked at jt yelling at uzi for something. i was trying to hold my laugh but then she threw her phone at his head. my eyes got wide as i turned and looked at stokeley to see him holding the same expression. once jt walked away we busted out laughing
"wtf just happened?" i whispered to him laughing harder
"idk but i'm glad you don't throw your phone at me" he joked
"i don't care tho jt is ma girl" i said as he side eyed me
"now presenting best new female artist" the announcer said causing both me and ice spice to look at the stage. we were both nominated for the award
"and the award goes to............BIG LATTO" she yelled causing my jaw to drop and look over to stoke
"i'm so proud of you baby" he said as we both stood up. as soon as we did, i hugged him tightly and kissed his face repeatedly
"i love you" i said cupping his face
"love you more" he smiled as i turned around to give ice spice a hug too. once that was over i made my way to the stairs to give my speech
"uhh i don't have a speech prepared but uh shout out to..god because HE BE DOING HIS GOOD ONE ON MEEE" i joked as the crowd laughed "shout out to all the other women is this category...shout out to all the women who paved the way for this to even be possible" i said before screaming "shout out to some of the women who should've been in this category...doechii, flo milli" i said before the crowd applauded "mama i love you" i said blowing a kiss "and my mannnn" i said sticking out my tongue and doing the 'backshots motion' "no but fr i love you baby" i said looking at him as he mouthed an 'i love you' "oh and thank you bet" i said blowing another kiss and walking off the stage
"you a trip" i heard stokeley say when i sat down
"you love me tho" i said puckering my lips for the second time tonight
"you right" he said kissing me back
"congratulations" i heard ice spice say after our little make out shesh was done
