The morning light filters through the window, casting a warm glow on Fourth's face. He stirs, blinking groggily, and then his eyes widen as he remembers the previous night. I sit beside him, my heart pounding as I see the realization dawn on his face.

"Morning," I say softly, trying to keep my voice steady.

Fourth sits up, looking away. "Gem, about last night—"

"Fourth," I interrupt gently, "we need to talk."

He nods, his expression a mix of anxiety and resignation. "I understand. You don't have to say anything. I know it was too much."

I take a deep breath, choosing my words carefully. "Fourth, your confession took me by surprise. I never realized how deeply you felt about me. And to be honest, it made me confront some feelings of my own that I've been ignoring."

He looks at me, confusion and hope mingling in his eyes. "What do you mean?"

"I mean," I continue, "that I've always cared about you, more than I ever admitted to myself. Hearing you last night, seeing how much you love me, made me realize that maybe... I've been in denial about my own feelings."

"Gem," Fourth whispers, his voice trembling, "do you mean it?"

I nod, taking his hand in mine. "Yes, Fourth. I don't know what this means for us, but I want to figure it out together. I don't want to lose you, and I don't want to ignore what we might have."

Tears fill Fourth's eyes again, but this time, they are tears of relief and happiness. "I love you, Gem. I always have."

"I know," I say, squeezing his hand. "And I think I might love you too. Let's take this one step at a time, okay? We have a lot to talk about, and we need to be honest with each other."

He nods, a small smile forming on his lips. "One step at a time."

As we sit there, holding hands, I feel a sense of calm wash over me. For the first time, I allow myself to believe that maybe, just maybe, we can make this work.

The rest of the house begins to wake up, and soon the day is bustling with activity. We join the others for breakfast, our secret moment hidden away, but a new understanding between us.

Throughout the day, we share glances, smiles, and small touches, testing the waters of our new relationship. There's a comfort in knowing that we're not alone in this, that we have each other to lean on.

That evening, as the recording begins, I find myself more focused than ever. Knowing Fourth's feelings gives me a sense of purpose, a reason to do my best. We work together seamlessly, our connection translating into our performance.

After the day's recording ends, we retreat to our room, the tension from earlier replaced by a newfound ease. We talk late into the night, sharing our fears, hopes, and dreams. By the time we fall asleep, I feel a sense of peace and hope for the future.
