Previously on chapter 07:
Upon arriving at the area, she would see a "kid" in a suit with a few blood stains of it standing near a dead corpse. According to what the corpse is wearing, it obviously belongs to a noble of some sort
Around him is destroyed building and a long trail of blood which lead somewhere else. It seems that there are blood in his mouth but unknown to her... The blood belongs to someone else
"?"
Walter would turn around to face Seryu with a smirk on his face. His wires is still extended in case the woman in front of him is hostile like those people
"Are you with those assassin?"
Walter asked with the same expression on his face
"YOU!"
Seryu shouted not with fear but with shock and anger in her voice, not paying attention to what Walter is asking
Present:
From what Walter is seeing, the woman in front of him isn't a part of the assassin group he just fought due to her uniform and the way she act
"I see... So you're a police of this nation?"
Walter politely asked
"Yes I am!"
Seryu responded with an angry and loud voice
"Well then I recommend going after the actual assassin instead of me"
Walter recommended with a smirk on his face as he would jump on top of a nearby building which is still intact. After that, Walter would sprint away with the speed faster than a cheetah.
"Get back here!"
Seryu shouted again as Walter is now nowhere to be found. She wasn't able to send Koro out in time
Walter still have his humanity despite the fact that he is now an artificial vampire. And that humanity part is telling him to not kill an innocent person. Fortunately he were able to loot some of the dead noble's jewelries which might be useful in the future... Specially when he ran out of cigarettes
Night Raid base
2 hours later
Every members of the Night Raid is still waiting for Lubbock and Leone to return from their mission, they have been been on a mission for this long. Maybe something went wrong
Knock, knock
A few knocks would be heard on the door of the base
"!"
Tatsumi would quickly rush towards the door to open it thinking that it is Lubbock and Leone, and his thought was correct
A now one-armed Leone is seen carrying a now unconscious and heavily wounded Lubbock using her remaining arm while holding onto her now separated left arm. As she would fall unconscious after Tatsumi opened the door
"Leone!"
Tatsumi shouted which caught the attention of the other Night Raid members
Time skip
Najenda is seen walking out of Lubbock's room, towards the center arena. An familiar red coated figure is also seen leaning his back on one of the pillar in a darker area as on his face is a sinister grin
"... Will they be fine?"
Tatsumi asked, concerned about his teammates. He has already lost Sheele and Bulat so it's obvious that he don't want to lose anyone else
"Lubbock is currently unconscious due to blood lost but both of them are fine and their injuries isn't life threatening so they'll recover after a couple days. Until then they will be out of action"
Najenda responded before putting a cigarette inside her mouth and pulling out a slighter to light it
"Who the heck did that to them?!"
Mine angrily asked, she's going to blast the head of the person who dare to did that to her friends
"From what I heard from Leone, the person seems to be a 14 years old child in a suit with the ability to control wires similar to Lubbock's Teigu. His physical strength and speed are also superior compare to both of them... The person also seems to be thirsty for blood"
Najenda responded as she would look at Alucard, this person reminded her of the red coated vampire in front of her
As Alucard's sinister grin would grow even wider. He know exactly who the person is
"Do you know who that person is by any chance?"
Najenda asked while looking at Alucard. As the rest of the team would do the same since the person might be related Alucard
"A person from my past"
Alucard responded while still having that sinister grin on his face
"Walter C. Dornez or better known as "The Angel Of Death""
Alucard continued. Maybe he could actually settle the score with Walter and kill him for betraying their master
Capital City
3 days later
Walter is now walking around the Capital City while smoking a cigarette. It doesn't taste as good as the cigarette in his world but it's better than nothing. Due to the fact that he lack the ability to eat or drink, smoking cigarettes is the best choice for him... Beside drinking blood that is. It won't really hurt his lungs anyways due to his regeneration ability as an artificial vampire
While walking Walter would notice a poster on the wall about a tournament of some sort
"Interesting"
Walter said to himself with a smirk on his face as he would take the cigarette out of his mouth before throwing it on the ground and stomping on it
