"Is Wes still bugging you?"
Tara looks at her girlfriends text and laughs before replying , "no, blocked his number." then picks up the landline.
"Hello?" Tara asks, voice sounding bored.
"Hello. Is Christina there?"
Tara rolls her eyes before quickly saying, "No she's not available, may I take a message?"
"Uh, yeah, well, um... Yeah sorry. I'm a friend from her group– oh shit."
Tara laughs, "From her shit?"
"Um..look, just tell her I'm from group. I'm Charlie. She's got my number."
"Oh she goes to your group?" Tara asks, looking at her phone again to text her girlfriend.
"Oh I shouldn't have, um...look. Just tell her Charlie called."
Tara leans against counter, "And I will do exactly that, Charlie, Once you tell me what kind of group we're talking about." the short girl quickly types out, "you should come over" and hits send.
"Look–"
"Is it AA? NA?" Tara asks, cutting him off.
"You sound exactly like she describes you."
Tara raises her eyebrows, "Uh, does she talk about me in group?" her phone buzzes, and she reads the newest text.
"I'm already omw :)" Devyn replied
"I don't think I can really talk about that."
"What does she say about me?" Tara asks, intrigued, smiling at the text before turning her phone off and placing it face down on the counter.
"Well, she loves you very much."
"What does she love about me?" The Latina smirks.
"Uh, okay. Well... She loves that you're creative. You love art and TV and movies."
Tara sighs,"okay well, lots of people love movies."
"She says you love scary movies, and that you guys have that in common. She's proud of making a fan out of you."
Tara freezes, "She is?"
"Yeah. She told me the other day, she wonders... What's your favorite scary movie?" Charlie's voice drops at the end of his question.
