Chapter 3: Nightmares (Aphmau)

Aphmau's POV

Dreams

Flashback 1

Aaron entered the cave and ran through it to get to the cavern. Once he got there, Ein held a knife at My throat, ready to slash it at any minute. Aaron looked around.

Ein's eyes were now the same color as Garroth's and Katelyn's as he cackled evilly while Sunny had her eyebrows furrowed but she stopped ploughing them when she noticed Aaron.

Me: Aaron!

Aaron: His eyes widened as he gasped

Ein: Shhhhh. The man has to talk little babe.

Blaze: You liar! We all trusted you! We looked up to you! You were the reason why we were all being hunted!

Ein: Aaron, just the man I've been looking for. Snickers You know, you could've stopped ALL of this if you just killed me in those woods. A real Alpha would have but you didn't and here we are, again cause of your failure. This time, you have something I want, something you're going to give back. You wouldn't upset me, would you?

(Aaron froze)

Ein: You're going to give them back to me!

Me: Aaron, don't—!

Ein: Quiet! Are you willing to let me kill her? It's quite simple. Just give them back!

(Aaron furrowed his brows as his eyes turned red. Ein now had his ears and tail back as he smirked and looked up at his ears)

(Aaron's eyes widened as I was still in Ein's grasp)

(I pushed back Ein's arm as she jumped off the boulder they were on)

(I tried to run towards him but Ein shot emerald magic at me)

(I collapsed and Aaron ran towards me)

Irene: (with a wiser tone) You are Aphmau, are you not?

Me: I am.

Irene: Blaze?

Blaze: yeah.. who, are you..?

Irene: a cursed soul. You're stuck here, aren't you?

Blaze: as I was going to pass through the doors, I saw her here.. as if, frozen in time.

Me: you didn't have to come here, Blaze

Blaze: I wanted to! I didn't wanna leave you stuck here alone. that's no way to go.

Me: stop it!

Blaze: you needed someone with you.

Me: Angrily STOP IT!

Irene: huh?

Me: Crying it's always been like that hasn't it?! Aphmau can't do anything on her own! Aphmau needs people to help her ALL THE TIME! Aphmau can't even save herself, let alone save the people she cares for!

Blaze: that's not what I meant!

Me: Crying but it's true! isn't it? that's why I'm here in the first place. it's because I couldn't save myself that others had to suffer through pain... it's because I'm so selfish, that I couldn't see them suffering.. if I was stronger. if I was able to look after myself. my friends wouldn't be in this situation. no one would've gone to Starlight, Aaron would be better off without me.
