Hurt and death

Lola POV

I sighed as Predaking cleaned the blood off my face. "You'll be okay." He told me softly. I smiled.

I then saw Ryan sitting in the RV. "How's Ryan?" I asked. King sighed. "Honestly? He's mad that man laid his hands on you but he's also mad with him not being able to control his anger." He told me. I nodded.

Ryan stood up when we heard we had a problem. We saw Jim digging. Predaking glanced at me.

I was sitting down at dinner and Predaking was laying behind me. He was half asleep. Morales started to talk about Dale's watch. I smiled. Ryan was sitting beside me.

Ryan then got up. "Where are you going?" I asked. "I have to piss. God, you act more like a parent than I do." Ryan grumbled. I smiled.

"We're out of toilet paper?" Ryan asked. Suddenly he screamed. I turned. I widened my eyes. He shoved the walker away from him.

"PREDAKING?!"  I screamed. He snarled. LOLA GET DOWN! He yelled. I ducked and he fired his blast. He roared and continued to fire his blast. It burned the walkers.

I then saw the walker rip Ryan's throat. "RYAN! NO!"

Jim threw me back and killed the walker. I then instantly started to try and stop the bleeding.

I then started crying. "Ryan... I don't know what to do..." I sobbed. "Take care of Predaking for me. He's... he's gonna be hurt."
I nodded. Ryan then smiled at me then he stopped moving. "Ryan? Ryan?" I started crying.

Predaking turned and his spark stopped. Ryan wasn't moving and Lola was crying on him.

Predaking then stood behind the two. He reared up on his back two legs and screeched in distress. He roared loudly.

He roared wailing at the fact he lost his sparkmate. He then whimpered. He then nuzzled me.

It was morning and I still haven't moved from Ryan's side. Predaking was in his holoform beside me.

I ignored everyone that spoke to me.

"They still haven't moved?" Rick asked. "No. They've been there all night. Predaking growls at anyone that gets too close." Lori said.

"Can't just leave Ryan like that. We need to deal with it. Same as the others." Shane said. "I'll tell them how it is."

Predaking heard someone walking up. He pulled out his sword and put it to Ricks throat. "I know how the damn safety works." He snarled.

"Okay. I'm sorry." He backed off. Predaking put his sword down and he turned back to Ryan.

I sighed.

Me and Predaking ignored everything going on. We then saw Dale. "I came to pay my respects." he said.

He bent down beside Predaking "Did I ever tell you how I lost my wife?" Dale asked.

"Cancer, wasn't it?" King asked. "Yeah. And I dragged her to every doctor, every test. And after all the surgeries and the chemos, she was ready. She accepted it, you know? But I never could. And I spent the last few years so angry. I felt so cheated. Since she passed, you, Lola and Ryan were the first people... that I cared anything for."

Predaking looked at Dale and smiled.

He then pulled something out. "It's... it's Lola's birthday..." he whispered.

Dale widened his eyes. "Her birthdays are always a week long affair. Ryan always made it and I... was too busy trying to make sure they were safe from what I did. I always missed it. She'd call all excited. I always said I'd make it back but I never got past that phone call." King said.

"I know things are hard enough for you without adding guilt to the mix, huh?" Dale said. "It's her birthday and she got the worst gift that could ever be given." Predaking said. I felt a tear fall down.

Dale patted our backs and walked off.

I then heard something. I put my ear near Ryan's mouth. "King..." he turned. Ryan already turned and he looked at Predaking.

"Ry?" He whispered. "I'm really sorry, Ryan. I always promised I would make it but I never could. I thought there would be more time."

The walker of my brother tried to bite King. "I'm here now, Ryan. I love you." King whispered.

He shot him in the head. He gently rubbed his head. I felt like crying. Predaking then hugged me tightly.

Predaking took me down to the quarry. "We wanted this as a surprise because I found them the other day." Predaking said.

I looked and widened my eyes. Darksteel and Skylynx was in front of me.

Both of them saw me and they chittered.

Predaking was going to burn Ryan's body. He roared and lit the body on fire. I felt numb and Skylynx rubbed my back.

Once I got up the hill, I laid down and fell asleep.
