"Fucking hell..." you rubbed your forhead with a pained expression, the light from your laptop was really starting to strain your eyes but you couldn't stop. Your boss needed this report by the end of the hour.

You rubbed your eye with a sigh. You were the only one who bothered trying. Your coworkers always pinned the work on you, then took your credit. It used to hurt, but it's been happening for at least two years. Now, it doesn't even phase you anymore

So you continued working, ignoring everything and everyone around you. You were so focused on your work that you didn't hear your coworker.

You flinched harshly at the contact on your shoulder, causing you to snap your head at the culprit. The culprit was your coworker, Ami. It was a nickname she used around the office. No one knew her real name, and thankfully, you didn't care too much either to know.

"Woah Woah! My bad didn't mean to scare you!" Ami said with a smile as she rubbed the back of her head. You relaxed as you let out a sigh, out of your co-worker's, Ami is one you can tolerate. Mostly because she gets her shit done herself. Plus, she brings you cookies every once in a while.

"It's fine..what is it?" You asked curiously. Ami smiled brightly at you. "Well! I wanted to see if you wanted to go to the bar with me?" She asked with a hopeful glint in her eyes.

"A bar? I don't know.." You wearnt one for bar's, or drinking or just going out in general you preferred staying at home with your cats. Plus, you have to finish your report.

"Oh, come on! Just a couple of drinks, i promise!" She pleaded as she clasped her hands together. You grimaced before sighing. You always struggled saying no. "Fine..."

Ami perked up, "Yes! I'll text you the address and time!" She said excitedly before skipping off happily. Why did you say yes? You groaned as you slammed your head on your desk, your water bottle falling onto the ground.

After Ami texted the location and time, the real struggle was picking what to wear. You mostly wore blouses and long skirts cause of your job, but a bar was different. People looked cute and not like someone who's in a meeting

After a struggle, you finally settled one a black off the shoulder shirt paired with a dark blue flowy skirt that reached ankles. The shoes you decided on were black high tops.

May not be the best outfit, but at least you look decent. Grabbing your phone to look at the address, it was fifteen minutes away, so you decided on walking. Grabbing your purse, you finally left your apartment despite your nerves going all over the place.

At least the walk to the bar was able to soothe your nerves a bit. When you arrived, you immediately spotted Ami standing outside the establishment, looking down at her phone. She looked up and smiled widely when she saw you.

"Y/n hey! You look so cute!" She gushed out as she grabbed your hand and started pulling you inside. It was loud and lively, it's making you nervous all over again.

"Hey don't look so stiff! Buy a drink and let loose!" Ami encouraged with a wide smile, it should've been reasuring, but it only made the feeling of dread increase inside of you. You could only respond with a grimace.

Ami patted you on the shoulder before walking off to a table, it was filled with your coworkers but you didn't want to be near any of them. So you dumbly stood there, fiddling with your purse strap great just great. This is why you didn't want to go out. Every time you do, you always get left alone.

It shouldn't surprise you anymore, you're boring so of course people leave. You finally got tired of standing and went to the bar. You settled on a stool as you folded your hands in your lap.

"A water please," you asked politely. The weird look you got wasn't surprising. Who goes to a bar and orders water? You wearnt a drinker, just the thought of drinking and getting drunk scared you shitless.

When the bartender gave you the water, you stared at it, lost in thought. You should just go home. Coming here was a mistake.

"Who goes to a bar and orders water?"

You flinched at the sudden deep voice, you turned your head to see...a very attractive man smirking at you. His hair was black, and his eyes were green. He wore a tight-fitting black shirt that showed off his muscular frame, which caused your tongue to suddenly feel heavy in your mouth.

"Huh?" You said dumbly, which caused him to chuckle.

Who is this?
