The Stay (ON HOLD FOR NOW)

Chapter 7

This chapter will be in Keegans POV. So like how he sees things and how he feels. 

I was in the kitchen watching Sebastian make breakfast. It wasn't boring for me, I enjoyed being around. Carson and Sebastian were the only two people that I enjoyed being around. I hated talking to anyone else because all they talk about is stupid shit. Like who's wearing what and who fought who. Yeah it's entertaining but after a while it dies out. With those two I actually talk. Carson's a talker whether he realizes it or not. Sometimes the talking is random. Like when we're watching a movie he'll just start talking. Sometimes he talks about the movie or it could be something random.Talking to him was like being on a train that constantly changed tracks. I liked that it kept the conversation fresh. Sebastian was more of a listener. He would always ask about my day or how I felt and I always had something to say. Most of the time he kept a straight face while listening to me.

It's rare that he makes a face at something you say. Sometimes he raises an eyebrow at me. That's when I know I said too much. "Keegan my love what are you thinking about?" Sebastian asked. "Oh nothing much just how back in school I didn't really talk to anyone" I said "Well I did but I didn't. If that makes sense" Sebastian began to move the scrambled eggs from the pan to the plate. "I know what you mean," he said, placing the pan back onto the stove. "Toast or muffins?" I chose muffins. If you eat toasted bread by itself for breakfast you scare me. Bread is a good side like for tomato soup or mac and cheese, but it definitely isn't a main dish food. "Good choice," Sebastian said to me. He opened the pantry and grabbed the muffins off the top shelf. We got them from the bakery in town.

The stairs creaked indicating Carson was coming downstairs. He walked in the kitchen holding his bear. I couldn't help but laugh at him. Carson snappedhis head towards me. He was giving me his death glare. I put my hands up in defense as he walked to an empty chair. "Good Morning Tiger," Sebastian said, turning around with two plates in his hands. "How'd you sleep?" Carson said fine and sat down farthest away from me. I didn't like when he was far away from me. We ate breakfast quietly. After breakfast I volunteered to wash the dishes. "Sebastian, can I talk to you in private please?" Carson asked. They went into the office that was connected to the kitchen. 

The office is where Sebastian does his work. I continued to wash the dishes hoping what they were talking about was good news. News like Carson would like to stay with us forever. Then we could go back to the mansion and I can show Carson around and we could keep each other company when Sebastian goes to work. We'd only stay in the vacation house until September then we'd go back to the main house. I heard the door to the office open and close. "Sebastian wants to talk to you in his office," Carson said before walking past me. What could he possibly want to talk to me about?

I grabbed the towel off the oven handle and dried my hands. I made my way to the office door and knocked. "Come in my love" I heard Sebasians muffled voice say. I opened the door to the office and peaked in. The walls were cream colored. On my left were two tall bookshelves that touched the ceiling. In the middle of the book shelves was a white couch. On my right was the desk where Sebastian sat and a window. "Come here Keegan," he said. I walked in and closed the door. I sat on the edge of his desk. There was a couch but I never used it. 

 "Carson just told me he wants to head back home today" I felt my eyes twitch when he said this. I didn't wait this long to have him for him to leave me. "You're not going to let him right?" I asked, sounding a little on edge. Sebastian placed his hand under my chin and said "Of course not my love. I told him to go pack and we'd head out after lunch. I have a plan"

Yes I know this chapter was short, but I'm saving the rest for the next chapter. What do you think Sebastian's plan is?
