I woke up before Hermione. We were both exhausted last night and didn't talk too much. I promised to explain how I knew Tulip in the morning, but I don't want to start our friendship with the whole 'I lived at Hogwarts since I was five years old' thing. So I quietly got dressed in a pair of jeans, purple t-shirt and a red zip up before leaving for Albus' office. I had questions, and I know damn well Minerva won't answer them. I passed snape in the hall, he raised an eyebrow at me as I stomped past him.
"Miss Valeria." He called out in his annoyingly slow voice.
"Ya severus?" I spun around annoyed.
"Do not call me that during the term." He snapped at me. "Why are you wandering the halls this early?"
"I need to talk to Albus. The hat, said some things. Now I have questions." I replied.
"Valeria, do you really believe this is a wise decision?" He narrowed his eyes at me.
"It's my life, I deserve to know about it." I spun back around and walked up to the office door. Mumbling the password per usual. I sped up the stairs. I know he can hear me coming. I'm not exactly being quiet about it. I swing open the door to find Albus sitting at his desk. "I have questions, I deserve answers."
"I assume this is going to take a while, sit down Valeria." He used my full name. Ok, this isn't chill Albus. This is Professor Dumbledore. I am screwed here. I sit down and begin my questioning.
"The hat knows about my parents. I know that the hat can't see your history. It only knows what is in your head. Which means it must have heard about my parents from you. Overheard something in the office. I want to know." I folded my arms and stared at him.
"I'll tell you about your mother. Deal?" He raised an eyebrow at me.
"I want to know all you know Albus." I sat up, this is so frustrating.
"I will tell you about your mother or I will tell you nothing." He sat back, getting comfortable. He is willing to do this all day. I'll take what I can get, for now.
"Fine." I grumbled.
"Your mother was a student here at Hogwarts. A Slytherin girl named Valeria. She died giving birth to you-"
"What's her last name? What's my own last name!" I raised my voice. Albus silenced me by holding up his hand. I sat back and waiting his response.
"Valeria Snape." He sighed.
"No, your not saying-"
"Snape is a relative of yours." As he said that I got up stormed out of his office. Turns out my answers are in the dungeon. In Snapes office. I ran through the hall. Passing Hermione outside the library.
"Val?" She called out to me.
"Talk later, gotta find Snape!" I called back, speeding past her. I made my way to his office and banged on the door.
"Come in Val." I heard him say inside. I swung open the door and slammed it behind me.
"Six years. SIX YEARS, you didn't say a WORD!" I yelled.
"Lower your voice immediately." He scolded me.
"So, what was she. A sister, cousin-"
"Aunt." He cut me off. "She was my aunt."
"ewwwww we are cousins!" I made a disgusted noise.
"Who do you think brought you here all those years ago Val? Will you calm down. You cannot tell anyone. We have spent years making sure no one knew. You cannot tell anyone who your mother is. Do you understand?" He placed his hands on my shoulders. Waiting for me to confirm.
