Quite A Drop From The Top, So How You Feeling Down There?

Becky rose from the ground cleaning her blades of the ichor on them. She shook her head as she brushed off the dirt on her pants. They had killed yet another demon that somehow got through Idris defenses.

Rose looked around for any sign of where Jeff and Matt could have gone but they find no signs. They hadn't been out there for long, but it was long enough for their stamina rune to start fading.

"Should we try sending a fire message?" Becky asked, crossing her arms, "I mean maybe they can tell us where they are themselves".

"Don't you think Shawn would have thought about that before sending us all the way to Idris?" Rose asked.

"I dunno maybe" Becky said, "But just to be sure... You never know, maybe the thought just never occurred to them. They have a lot on their plates"

She took out a piece of paper from a small bag on her belt and started writing something. She then held out her paper and stele and it disappeared in a flurry of fire. Becky looked at Rose, then around at the Forest.

"You know... I've never been this far from this deep in Idris" Becky said, "I still don't know where this demon came from"

"Haven't you heard about the warlock opening pathways for them? They never get into the city because of the wards" Rose said, "They've already checked Finn and Shinsuke with the Mortal sword".

"How'd you know what?" Becky asked.

"I hear things" Rose said, "You're more experienced than me... why didn't you know that".

Becky chuckled, "Just not something I learned recently".

They started walking down the path, talking as they did. Watching each others back for demons should they attack them. They seemed to be attacking from every corner.

"So how are you and Seth?" Rose asked.

"We're great... he's such an amazing father" Becky said and smiled.

"I'm happy for you" Rose said, "I mean you're really living the dream huh?"

"Yeah I guess you're right" Becky said, "what about you?"

"What about me?" Rose asked.

"Well... I mean, it's no secret that you like Dominick" Becky said.

"What? Where did you hear that?" Rose asked, her voice becoming higher.

"I'm not blind Rose" Becky said, "I do see things".

"Rhea told you didn't she?" Rose said, crossing her arms.

"Yeah... yeah she did, but that doesn't change the fact that I can tell" Becky said, "So... talk to me".

"About what?" Rose asked, "he pretty much sees me as a sister".

"Rose... you must be blind" Becky said rolling her eyes, "Don't you see him staring at you lass?"

"When?" Rose asked, snapping her head to look at Becky. She chuckled.

"All the time" Becky said, "He looks at you when you're not looking".

"Well that's incredibly hard to notice then don't you think?" Rose said.

"Rose... listen... you like him, he likes you, you're not teenagers" Becky said,  "you two are already good friends, just tell him won't you?"

"Tell him what? That I've basically been in love with him since we were 16" Rose asked.

"Yes that's exactly what I'm saying" Becky said.

"I can't do that" Rose said.

Becky sighed and stopped walking. Rose stopped and looked at her questioningly
