Samm had been doing classes over summer break for extra credit.She wanted to make sure that she got an A+ in her new Music class so that when she told her dad about her dream,he couldn't use education as an excuse.It was her first day as a Freshman at Ridgewood and she couldn't be any less pleased about it.The moment she got out her dads pick-up and set foot on the campus she knew it wasn't right for her.She had shown her dad brochures of C.A.D.A,the college she wanted to attend,in Canada but her dad said he didn't have the funding.Ridgewood didn't have much choice when it came to the arts programmes,there was a creative dancing class,Painting class or Music Production.Samm's heart was always set on singing and songwriting and hated producing.C.A.D.A,Canadian Academy of the Dramatic Arts,was a school that specialised in each creative aspect. Music,Dance,Art...the lot!! But she was stuck in a school she hated,with no real music classes,with no friends and had to put on a smile and say she had a great day when she got home to her dad.
