Under the Dark skies

IM SO SORRY FOR THE BIG DELAY
I've been really busy with school so I've had to work one this one chapter when I actually have free time and when I'm not being nagged about my grades. I'll do my best to start uploading either daily or weekly!

It was any other day at Kamome Academy
Your best friend (BFF/N) was telling you about one of the new and popular rumours known as The '4 o'clock library' but you honestly couldn't care less
As you listen to (BFF/N) blab on and on about it you stare out the window as the grey clouds in the distance slowly inch closer taking over the once clear blue sky

"ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO ME (Y/N)!??" You quickly sit up straight as you get startled by (BFF/N) suddenly yelling
"O-of course I am!" You quickly say not wanting to make her even more mad then she already is.
'sigh' you look at your friend feeling a bit guilty for not listening to her and suddenly the bell rings signaling for the last class period to start before going home

"I'll let your ignorance slide this time..." (BFF/N) sighs while pinching the bridge of their Nose looking a bit irritated but then chuckling a bit with a soft smile
"I guess I'll see you later, bye (Y/N)!" She says before grabbing her bag and bolting out of the classroom to make it to her next class

'sigh' "the clouds are coming in faster than I expected, I guess my plans for going to the park are being cancelled now.." You sigh a bit but smile softly knowing that it's alright and that there was always next time, you closed your eyes and listen for the distant thunder

'creak'
You open your eyes only to be meet with the eyes of an angel and that angel was none other than the beautiful queen of popularity-
Aoi Akane

"Oh? What a surprise seeing you here (Y/N."
She says in a soft and kind voice that can ease anyone's mind
"It's nice seeing you Ao-chan! How are you?" You say in a kind tone
"I'm doing great, thank you for asking (Y/N)!" She said in a chirpy tone
You can't help but smile while hearing her voice
It makes you feel as if you've been heavenly blessed
You and Aoi continue to talk about whatever comes to mind as time flies by and the skies get darker and the thundering becomes closer

"(Y/N), would you like to join me for a sleepover this Saturday night at 6?" She says with a kind smile as her gentle dark purple eyes stare into mine while waiting for a response
"I'd love to Ao-chan! Should I bring anything just in case?"
"I'd be very grateful if you could maybe bring some extra snacks just in case we magically run out!" She giggled
"Will do! Be sure to get home safely Aoi, okay?"
"I will (Y/N), I will." She replied
And with that she left the room and I assume that she's either going to go to her art club or start heading home.

Few minutes of silence go by before I stand up , the sound of the chair scrapping against the hard wood Floor as I do so.
Sigh
"I guess it's time about time I head home now.."
As I get up and gather my belongings I make sure that I haven't made a mess and then turn off the lights before exiting the room.
As I walk through the empty hallways the only  thing that can be heard is the pitter pattering of my shoes, the sound of rain drops hitting against the window and often the sound of thunder.

Once I've made it to the lockers I open mine, take off my indoor shoes and swap them out with my outdoor ones before closing the locker and swinging my bag over my shoulder.
"This is gonna be a long and boring walk isn't it?" I think to myself as I take out my umbrella and open it before I step out the building, the sound of rain and the distance thunder becoming more clearer than before as I start my walk back home.

OKAY I KNOW THAT THIS CHAPTER ISNT LONG BUT ITS ONLY BC IM FINISHING THIS AT 10:58 RN AND I HAVE SCHOOL 😭

I'll try to upload another chapter but until then I'd like to as if you want me to put a specific gender on (Y/N) like do you want it to be a male, female or just keep it neutral? Please tell how you prefer it so that I can make this to y'all's liking.
