Hailey: "Maddie, what are we going to do? It's not like we can go back home because mom would never recognize us as cats."

Maddie: "We should probably go try to find that strange old lady that turned us into cats and see if we can get her to undo the spell, or we could just find a spell book some how."

Hailey: "Ok, but I doubt she would change us back into humans unless we did something for her or gave her something."

Maddie: "Let's get going."

Hailey: "Ok."

Hailey and Maddie were walking down the street, when suddenly a man with a net appeared.

Maddie: "Hey, there's a man with a net, I wonder what he could be doing with that."

Hailey: "Oh no, well it's too late now, there's no way we can escape that fast."

Maddie: "Oh, you mean he's an-"

Hailey: "Yep, he's an animal catcher."

Maddie: "Oh great."

Animal catcher: "Look what we have here, two cats and it looks like they're sisters too. Well off to the adoption center for you two."

Hailey: "AHH!!! The adoption center?!?!

Maddie: "It's ok, calm down, we'll find a way to escape some how."

Hailey: "Ok, I'll try."

Then, the animal catcher drove Hailey and Maddie to the adoption center and when they got there, he wrote a certificate with their names on it in case someone wants to adopt them and after that, he put them both in the same cage.

Hailey: "What are we going to do Maddie? We are stuck in a cage, and geez, he could've at least put us in a bigger cage because I'm squished."

Maddie: It's ok, for right now we can just go to sleep in here, and we can come up with an escape plan tomorrow."

Hailey: "Ok, but I'm hungry, and I am not eating cat food, bleh."

Maddie: "We can find some regular food tomorrow when we escape."

Hailey: "Ok."

Maddie: "Now let's go to sleep, the adoption center is closing up anyway."

Hailey: "Ok, goodnight, Maddie."

Maddie: "Goodnight."

The next morning, Hailey and Maddie are woken up by the sound of the owner of the adoption center opening their cage.

Owner of the Adoption Center: "Here you go, Megan, and here is Hailey and Maddie's birth certificates."

Megan: "Thank you so much! My daughter, Maya, has been wanting a cat for years now and now, she has two! She will be so happy and surprised."

Owner of the Adoption Center: "Well I'm so glad to hear that, and we just found these two cats yesterday, roaming around the streets."

Megan: "Well I'm so glad this adoption center found them, because they are the cutest cats here."

Owner of the Adoption Center: "Well we have supplies such as collars and food bowls in the back if you would like to get your daughter's new cats anything."

Megan: "Ok, I'll go get them some supplies."

Megan got a sparkly light blue collar for Hailey and Maddie and on both of their collars, their names were engraved on the metal charm that was shaped like a heart, a light blue food bowl with a paw print on it and a water bowl that was also light blue with a paw print for Hailey, a light blue food and water bowl with a heart on it for Maddie, a sparkly light blue leash for Hailey and Maddie, a light blue litter box for each of them, soft cat food, cat soap to bathe them with, a light blue cat bed for each of them, a light blue kennel for each of them, a light blue, heart shaped, cat toy for each of them, and she also got them each a pack of heart shaped, fish flavored, cat treats. Then, she went to go pay for her items.

Owner of Adoption Center: "Will that be all for you ma'am?"

Megan: "Oh yes, I've probably spent a fortune on these two cats."

Owner of Adoption Center: "Ok, you have a great day ma'am."

Megan: "You too."

After that, Megan loaded up all of their supplies, put the two cats in their own kennel, and started driving home.

Hailey: "Maddie, we are in a woman's car and she's adopting us!"

Maddie: "Yeah, she adopted us before we could even make an escape plan. I guess there's nothing we can do about it now."

Hailey: "Are you suggesting we stay cats forever and not even try to find a way to turn back into a human?"

Maddie: "Well, I would feel kind of bad just leaving this poor woman after she spent all that money on us, and she probably really does care about us if she bought all of that high quality cat supplies. Plus she said that we are for her daughter and it would probably break her daughter's heart if we ran away. And think about it, if we stay cats forever, that means no more school, no working or doing chores, we just get to sit back and let her daughter take care of us."

Hailey: "Well, I guess you do have a point, but I'm not staying a cat forever. I might spend a few nights here but then, I'm leaving to turn back into a human and I would be really sad if I had to go back home without you. And what would mom say if you were gone? I can't just tell her you turned into a cat, she would never believe that."

Maddie: "Let's just see how things go, and then we can decide what to do."

Hailey: "Ok."
