Mariah's P.O.V.

Gordon's hand was soft, and he held mine so gently. When he turned to pull me to his bedroom, I stopped him.

"Wait." I muttered.

"What is it?" He asked.

I pulled him closer, stood on the tips of my toes, and kissed him. He laid his hands on my waist. He pulled away a few moments later.

"I thought you wanted to wait?" He whispered.

I shrugged. "There's a week between every episode. It's not like we don't have time." I answered.

He smiled. "I won't be judging you based on our relationship, so don't just slack off."

"I won't, Chef."

Gordon's clothes were too big on me. When I walked into the kitchen, he turned to look at me.

"Woah." He muttered.

I blushed and tried to fix the length of the shirt. I rolled it up slightly, and I had kept my own pants on.

"So what is it you want to make?" Gordon asked.

"My siblings are extremely picky. We'll have to bake two different batches of brownies."

"Why is that?"

"Katie is allergic to nuts."

"Katie?"

"The six year old. Cara is the fifteen year old, and Uriah is the seventeen year old."

His eyes sparkled for a second. "Tell me more about yourself while we bake."

He put the apron on over his head and handed one to me. I put it on, and we both tied the backs at the same time.

"So am I ever going to meet the Gordon from Hell's Kitchen?" I asked.

"Never." Gordon replies.

"Why not?" I leaned against the counter.

"I don't ever want to yell at you like that."

Sometime in between baking, I fell asleep on the couch. When I woke up, I was in a bed. I sat up, rubbed my eyes, and walked to the kitchen. There were several bags full of brownies, more than I had made while I was awake.

I heard the slight hum of a television, so I headed to the living room. Gordon was laying on the couch, the television on low. I turned it off, threw it onto the other couch, and lightly shook Gordon.

"Come to bed. I'll leave in the morning." I told him when he opened his eyes.

He sat up, and I took his hands. He got to his feet, and his bright blue eyes were clouded with exhaustion. I kissed his cheek and led him to the bed.

"Mar Mar!" Katie telled, running to me.

I smiled and picked her up when she got close. Gordon stood a foot behind me. We were in my apartment, and my older brother, Rocket, had brought them over.

"Who's that?" Uriah asked, looking at Gordon.

"This is Gordon Ramsay. He's one of the judges for Masterchef." I answered.

Rocket's eyes narrowed when he looked at me. I set Katie on her feet.

"Why the hell is there a man older than me in your apartment?" Rocket barked.

"Uriah, take Cara and Katie to their room." I whispered.

Uriah grabbed Katie's hand and nearly shoved Cara to the ground. He was clearly pissed.

"Rocket, why do you have to be mad at Mariah everytime we come here? Just because Mom and Dad said she was their favorite before they died doesnt mean you have to be a jerk!" Uriah growled.

He slammed the door when he, Katie, and Cara went into another room. I couldn't look Rocket in the eyes.

"Is there a problem with me being here?" Gordon asked.

"Yeah, there's a fucking problem! I don't want some man at my little sister's apartment when I bring our fucking siblings here!" Rocket yelled.

"Shut the hell up, Rocket!" I snapped, shoving him away from me. "I'm not some little child! Quit treating me like one!"

"Get that fucker out of your apartment!"

"I'm the fucker?" Gordon yelled, getting in Rocket's face. "You're the pisshead who's mad for no damn reason!"

I grabbed Gordon's arm and pulled him away. "Go cool down. I can handle my brother."

Gordon walked away, and I glared at Rocket. His face was red with anger.

"You dont have the right to talk to me about what I want to fucking do. I have gaurdianship over those kids, but I'm busy with Masterchef right now. Don't be so fucking happy that I let you have them for the fucking day!" I slammed the door in his face and locked it.

I didn't realize I was crying until Uriah came out of the room and reached up to wipe away my tears. Katie and Cara looked at me from their bedroom doorway. Gordon was standing in the kitchen.

"Are you okay, Mar Mar?" Katie asked, walking up to me.

"I'm fine." I wiped away the last of my tears. "I have a surprise for you three."

"What is it?" Cara stood beside Katie.

"Desserts." Gordon answered for me.

He grabbed a plate that had a few different types of brownies on it. He grabbed a second plate and walked to the table. Katie smiled from ear to ear. I picked her up and carried her to a chair. Cara and Uriah sat in the chairs beside her.

"This plate here," Gordon said, pointing to the one on the right. "Is for Miss Katie."

Katie reached out to grab a brownie. She couldnt quite reach, so I grabbed the one she was trying to get and gave it to her.

"What is this?" She muttered, looking at me.

"I heard you're allergic to nuts, so I put m&ms in some of your brownies so you wouldn't have a regular brownie. I also crushed up a few of the candies and melted chocolate to frost the brownies and coat them with the candies." Gordon explained.

"There's all kinds of different brownies for all three of you." I said.

Katie offered the brownie to me. "You first, Mar Mar."

"Gordon wouldn't poison you, Sweetie." I told her.

She still held the brownie out to me. I rolled my eyes and took a small bite. Once I swallowed, she happily ate the rest. Uriah and Cara grabbed their own brownies and started eating. Gordon took my hand and led me to the kitchen.

"I made special ones for you." He said.

There was a covered plate sitting on the counter. He took the foil off, and I covered my mouth with my hand. There were several kinds of brownies, yet it was the way they were decorated that took my breath away.

Some had red hearts. Others had white chocolate doves. Two of them had beautiful roses piped onto them.

"Gordon, they're beautiful." I whispered.

"Try one." He said.

I grabbed one of the brownies with a white dove and took a bite. I looked at Gordon and smiled.

"Delicious."
