F15: 3(1) - Kai McDowell

I want to be like my mother, working hard to achieve her dream but she is unhappy with her current job right now, when she brought a rare sword home last year it was talking to me.. the female whispers inside a sword?? it was fascinating but weird to hear and see a sword talking to me but either way she gave it to me as some good luck charm to get through the school years

"are you going to be okay Kai?" - Naomi

"yes mother I'll be fine" - Kai

"look at you, all grown up Kai" - Ramon

"am I really a grown up father?" - Kai

"you will be soon but for now I know you'll do great at school my son" - Ramon

"thank you father" - Kai

"go along now Kai, go explore before 1 AT" - Naomi

"alright, see you later!" - Kai

"aw bye Kai" - Naomi

"see you later" - Ramon

I walked out of the house to go buy myself school lunch at the Yano Market, I also brought the sword with me just to keep myself safe from any danger that might come at me

I bought an egg sandwich and I went over to the Riverside Forest where I felt like trying out this sword in the Forest Trail

"here goes nothing.." - Kai

The first stage was easy to do but then I saw a pathway leading to somewhere else.. the female whispers started to come out from the sword again.. telling me to go through the suspicious pathway

"go.. there is something.. there.." - ???

I took that route and there was a Cocoi nest (Cocoi are monsters that lay eggs), I never knew that these were the creatures that lay eggs but because I went into their nest they got disturbed by my presence and tried to attack me so I had no other choice but to kill them

"kill.. them.. take the.. eggs.." - ???

Honestly this just seems cruel but there's already so many of them in this dungeon the entire population of Cocoi lives in and either way I feel like grandma and mother would need these eggs to make the good for today, this nest which is near to the next stage of the Forest Trail only had a few Cocoi's and I don't want to be the one to make them extinct so I killed only those few Cocoi's and left to the next stage with a bunch of eggs

Once I went into the final stage I felt uneasy as I go closer to the boss, even though this dungeon is the easiest it's pretty overwhelming for beginners like us children who are starting school but this sword.. it gives me courage and this fear of fighting against terrifying monsters became nothing to me because of this weird female voice that is coming from the sword..

"go.. slice the head.. off" - ???

My mother explained to me about the experience of being somewhat possessed by the spirit inside this sword but the spirit she was talking about was a male compared to the female spirit I am hearing inside the sword.. my brain and body felt numb and the only thing I thought of is to slice off the monsters head..
