"When will you be back kook" Tae asked with a tint of sadness in his deep voice.
"Baby I can't confirm it to you now because my schedule might change anytime" came the reply from the other side of the video call.
Seeing Tae sad, Jungkook tried cheering up his mood by changing the topic to what happened in Tae's pastry shop, Crazy 4 Cakes, that day.
"nothing much happened"
Jungkook could sense the mood of Tae but nonetheless he sighed..

*next morning*
Tae as usual was working in his shop with full determination and passion but the scene in front of his eyes made him miss his love..
A cute couple had entered the shop and had taken a seat nearby the window, and most of the time the boy was seen making the girl blush. He showered her with pecks. Tae cooed at them but he remembered those moments with his jungkookie and immediately felt tears in the corner of his eyes.

It was 8pm already, and Tae was locking the shop when he felt someone's presence behind him.. He shrugged it off thinking it was nothing.
But as he was walking down the lane to his house, he felt someone follow him. He started running out of fear and in a moment he was pulled back into someone's hard chest..
Tae was on the verge of pleading to the stranger to leave him but got shocked when he realized who it was

Tae had already drops of tears rolling down his cheeks as he continued to hit jungkook
" You idiot,you scared me.. and why are you here? Didn't u say you can't confirm ur return?"
" Babe that was a lie,,I just wanted to surprise you. How can I miss my tae's birthday" Jungkook said while his eyes were adoring his Tae.
Tae was dumbfounded as he had long forgotten his own birthday.. He immediately hugged Jungkook tightly and whispered 'I love yous' and 'I missed yous'..
"I missed you too babe but please forgive your baby and let's get home.The celebration starts once we get home" said jungkook with his bunny smile..
Tae nodded at his words extremely happy to be with him after so long ❤
