Where everything began

The nightclub

On a cold and rainy evening of November, I was in a nightclub for a task that the boss of the nightclub gave me. Focused on my camera, I hadn't noticed that someone was staring at me. The person tried to engage a conversation with me, but I knew who he was, and I couldn't stand him for more than five minutes, so I avoided the conversation by saying that I was going to the bathroom. On my way there, I bumped into a waitress. Not any waitress, of course it had to be Luiza Campos. "Hi Luiza" I timidly said. "Valentina Albuquerque? What the hell are you doing here? You're spying on me or what?" "I'm here to work. I didn't know you also worked here." She stared at me and said, "Yeah, yeah. I know you did it on purpose." "Of course not! What do you think? I'm not the type of person who does this. I mean yes, but not this time, I swear!" She sighed and walked away. I walked towards her and said, "But now that we're both here..." "No chance Valentina. I'm working, and I have no time for you." "At what time do you finish?" "I won't tell you. Why would I?" I looked at her for a bit and said, "I won't go anywhere, though. So maybe you should tell me." I knew it would make her mad if I stayed there, but she's so beautiful when she's mad, I love it. I saw in her face that she was trying to keep cool. "Ok. I finish at midnight." "Good. See you in the parking at 00h15 then!" I walked away proud of myself.
