Pet of darkness

Beginning

"Sigh.." Triton sighs "you win this time..again"

 "haha!" His friend, Daral replies

 "aren't you the one that told me to play with you?" 

"I did, but still..huh?" Triton pauses

"Where you looking a- huh?"

Daral looks in the same direction as Triton, only to see a giant white light getting bigger

"What's that?" Daral thinks out loud

"Maybe a solar flare? But we're not facing the sun?"

Note: I know that if the boys can see the GRB (gamma ray burst) they would've died already, but please just ignore it, for the sake of convenience

"Wait..that's a-"

Without giving Triton the time to speak, the white light rams into both him and daral, annihilating the planet with them

"What? Wh- where am i?" Triton regains Consciousness only to realize..

"Wait, where's daral!?" Worry for his friend starts kicking in as he tries to yell for his name, the only things that came out were..

"Guhuh.."

"Huh? Who's that! Show yourself!!" Confused Triton shouts again thinking the "kidnapper(s)" was near, but yet again..

"Gughu.." is the only thing that comes out

"Is that me?" Realizing that the sounds came from himself, Triton starts looking around for Daral 

"Why are my soundings all red?" After a quick observation finds that for as "far" as he could see was a red goo, like magma

"Wait..like what!" After realizing what he may be in he instinctively tries to swim to the top, but while doing so he notices something on his "hands" and also that he doesn't seem to be able to swim but only turn and roll

"Why are my hands black?" After realizing that the "goo" doesn't hurt him and that he can see perfectly through the goo he starts looking at his body

"And.." as Triton looks at his back he could see both a pair of wings and a..tail?

"So..black hands with only four fingers, a pair of black wings and a black tail?"

"And a black wall in the shape of a oval.."

"..am I a dragon in a egg" after realizing what he was, he got excited

"Yes! I've always wanted to be a dra- wait.." he looks at his body a second time

".........." he now knows what dragon species he is

"So I'm either a abssal dragon or a black dragon, both of those races are disliked by other dragons and everything around it.."

"..great" Triton now realizes just how rough his life as a dragon is going to be

"But first I should figure out how to break this shell.." Triton throws a punch while thinking to himself

'Crack'

"Well that was easy" Triton now thinks the mc's in those novels back at home were overreacting

As Triton walks on all fours (miserably) out of the egg and looks out, but the magnificent scenes that were in his mind didn't appear

"Is my spawn point hell?" Triton is now wondering how many crimes he committed to deserve this

Looking back into the "huge" cave, he saw four other eggs just like his, but their's were not open yet

Note: if you're wondering why Triton hasn't said anything about daral, it's because he usually forgets things easily which is why he forgot that daral was good at the game
