Nuts (Tamber)

It's been 3 weeks since Tara & Amber broke up. It only felt real after the first week of them not being seen together at all. All of Woodsboro High was shocked, completely blindsided. They argued a lot and would go days not speaking to each other, Amber would sub Tara on social media after Mindy would tell Amber who Tara spoked to and things she did in classes Amber weren't in (Mindy would greatly exaggerate), she wouldn't get a response from Tara not one anybody would know of cause Tara only followed her friends but even in the midst of all that they would still crowd each others space. They would get into an argument and then at lunch Tara's head would be propped up in Amber lap while Amber ran her fingers through her hair or like this one time Amber beat Tara to Algebra and when Tara made it in after the bell, Amber glared at her like she was daring her to sit somewhere other than next to her while Tara looked around like she was even considering sitting somewhere else. It went on two minutes before Tara "begrudgingly" sat next to Amber. Ten minutes into class they were shoulder to shoulder with Amber's arm around Tara.

This time was different though, everybody could feel it. After they broke up Amber stopped showing up to school and Tara social media pages went public leaving her with hundreds of followers and multiple dms saying "new friend?". Amber deactivated her social media pages ultimately disappointing her "fan club" as Tara called the girls who threw themselves at Amber constantly and indiscreetly.

The friend group were in disbelief but still believed they would get back together and would scare anyone who tried to speak to Tara away when they decided this course of action.

Two Weeks Ago

Mindy said "Well, what about Amber? We all know she's a whore magnet."
"We all know Amber doesn't know when anyone's flirting with her until they fucking say that that's exactly what they're doing." Anika replies she grabs Mindy's shoulders and massages them. Chad laughs.
"Maybe Tamber has run its course" Wes says mockingly but it doesn't fit his nervous smile and complete awkward demeanor. "Shut the fuck up Wesley" Liv says and plucks him as if to punctuate her sentence and Mindy hums in agreement. "You won't ruin my favorite ship" she continues. Wes hisses in annoyance. "You should get over that crush though bro, it's getting embarrassing." Chad whispers to a visibly pissed off Wes. "We don't even know why they broke up!" Wes argues. Mindy hums in agreement again. Liv glares at her in betrayal but she misses it because her eyes are closed as if to focus on Anika's massage. Anika catches it and laughs but then gets serious and says "So none of us know why they broke up for real?" Causing everyone to squint their eyes and shake their heads. "Do we know who did the breaking up?" Mindy continues and is only gets silence in reply. Mindy sits up "DO WE KNOW WHO GOT DUMPED???" More silence ensues. "You guys are TERRIBLE friends" Mindy says whipping out her phone and everyone groans.
"You quite literally don't know either" Liv says."Well I'm about to figure it out, but first who do we think got dumped so I know what to say?" A few moments of contemplation and everyone eyeing each other and "Amber" is said in unison. "Why do we all know that?" Chad snickers. "Amber is a lovesick angsty dork, she could never break up with Tara."
"Honestly, I think she'd die before she ever even had the thought to" Liv says in agreement.
"I always told Tara Amber was bad news, a literal heartbreaker like it's her job maybe she finally realized it" Wes nods his head and places his hands on hips. Everyone laughs. "Yeah, sure that's what happened buddy." Chad says while roughing up his hair.
