Without realising, Molly's cheeks turned pink when she knew that Jason had touched her shoulders. "Jason, I know youre trying to comfort me, b-but it okay. Im going to have to live off the land, well, you know, survive", she said softly.
She turned to Jason and stared deeply into Jason's eyes. Jason helped her up and led her deeper into the woods. "Where are you taking me?", Molly said, as twigs and broken branches snapped under her sneakers.
Few seconds later, they arrived at a deserted cabin. The cabin was old, and dusty. Mould formed on he window panes, and spider webs hung from every corner of the balcony. The eerie surroundings of the cabin gave Molly the chills. What is this? A cabin? Doesnt look like one, she thought, and flinched when Jason quickly grabbed her wrist and walked to the front door.
The door squeaked open, revealing theessy insides of the cabin. Jason stood there, just staring at Molly. "Why did you bring me here?", she asked, scanning the living room. It was a total mess.
The couch is torn and worn out, rats and miscellaneous insects creeped along the floor and walls, and a sharp rotten stench stung Molly's nose, and she gagged.
"I-is this your cabin?", Molly asked. Jason didnt answer. He just nodded and flipped the light switch. There was only one bulb in the living room, the lightings were bad.
Jason then took out another piece of crumpled paper and started jotting down something. Then he gave it to Molly.
It reads:
"You can stay here with me, if you cant go home. You are a good girl, and I must make sure you stay as a good girl."Molly's eyes widen and her jaw dropped. He wants me to stay with him? She froze, staring at the paper. Jason stared at Molly, hoping to get an answer from Molly. He wants Molly to stay.
She knew that if she tried to live alone at the campsite, she would probably die of hunger because she have'nt learnt the survival basics. She couldnt even light up a campfire.
She looked at Jason. "Okay, I'll stay. As long as you wont hurt me, right?", she said brightly. Behind Jason's emotionless mask, a smile has formed on his lips.
