Chapter 2

"WHO DID WHAT NOW?!"

Prapai shouted when Phayu explained to him what had happened as per what Saifah had told him...

"Yeah... Remember that previous mechanic that Pakin used? P'Mew? He sent men to attack the garage... hoping to catch both of us, when they found Saifah alone, they thought to send a loud and clear message that they would like their position as Pakin's main garage back, even if it would happen by force..."

"Wasn't that the guy who had been sabotaging the contenders and messing with the bikes on purpose?"

Phayu nodded, He remembered how angry Pakin had been when Phayu and Saifah proved that Mew's place had been responsible for tampering with the races and the bikes, that they went behind Pakin's back to arrange some sides to win and others to lose, controlling the gambles and making sure the side that could pay them more win...

It was a long story but it was one of the reasons Saifah, Phayu, and Prapai had been an unbreakable trio... and it was one of the main reasons why Phayu and Saifah were favored by P'Chai and Pakin...

"Now what to do? You will tell Pakin about it?"

Phayu nodded, Prapai had already told P'Chai about what had happened, but once they involve Pakin in that, things would most likely get complicated...

Sky and Rain had sat down with them without uttering a word... Rain had calmed down considerably when Phayu talked with him... but the room was still tense... Saifah was asleep upstairs, which meant that they couldn't do anything about moving him till he was awake and able...

Their conversation was intubated with Prapai's phone ringing... Prapai looked at the display before he looked with purpose at Phayu, taking his phone and walking out of the garage...

Phayu dropped next to Rain who rubbed his back in sympathy...

Prapai came back qucikly

"Pakin wants to see us... Both of us..."

Phayu was reluctant to leave his brother and Rain and go to Pakin, but Rain and Sky had reassured him that Saifah was safe, the entire situation was in hand, and they had locked down the garage for the day... and Sky had promised that they would call if anything had happened, moreover, P'Chai said he would send some men to make sure none of the three could be a target while Prapai and Phayu were gone...

Saifah had been asleep for the most part, during the time they had informed Pakin and awaited his answer they took turns checking on him... Phayu was steaming already, and they didn't want him to run to P'Mew's place and get himself hurt or worse...

Phayu had told Rain and Sky what was close to a page of instructions and one of those was to let him know if Saifah took a turn for worse or felt a pain he shouldn't be feeling, to order food and make sure he eats well.. and to keep him in place... before Prapai dragged him out of the garage...

"We shouldn't be long... Pakin will need to talk to us... but I promise you both we will be back safe and sound..."

That was why Saifah, Sky, and Rain were currently sitting around Saifah's bed munching on takeout and showering Safiah with questions of who was P'Mew...

"It's a long story... I am not sure Pai and Yu would want you both to know that it is not exactly a pleasant one as well..."

Rain looked like he was a boy someone was keeping him from his piece of chocolate...

"But... But P'Saifah... We want to know... You said that this P'Mew sent men to attack the garage... what if He hurts P'Phayu and P'Pai..."

"He cannot, Pakin wouldn't allow that, which was why I made Phayu promise not to go find him without telling Pakin first..."
