This is a random scene that literally popped into my head and I somehow said it aloud, while the song 'Safe And Sound' by Nightcore played. There is an external link for the song and a playlist, also the video is located above.
Scene: Start
She took out a gun from her holster and held it against his forehead. Her index finger was on the trigger, but she couldn't pull it.
"Three." Her finger slightly pressed against the trigger. She stared at his cold, trembling body with emotionless eyes. The rain hid his obvious teardrops and she almost felt sorry for him.
"Two." She knew she couldn't pull the trigger, so she turned her head to the side. The dim lights decorating the empty street didn't make her feel any better.
"One." Her finger pulled the trigger as she whispered the number. The sound of the gunshot echoed throughout the town, as well as the gun falling to the ground. His body crashed to the ground, her body following a second after. A hole in his head showed where the bullet pierced him. Tears streamed from her eyes as she finally showed emotion.
After her breakdown, she picked up the gun and placed it back in her holster. She walked away from the scene with cold eyes. She spent days without talking, eating, or even leaving her room. Days turned into weeks, until she couldn't take it any longer. Taking the gun from her holster, she held it to the side of her head and said the word that decided a boy's fate.
"One." She said the number, her voice trembling as she pulled the trigger without hesitation. Her body crumpled to the floor, blood pooling around her. No one went to see what had happened, as they didn't care for her. And so there was the bang of the gunshot and silence throughout the room and town.
