Over three hours....that's how long it takes the young motorcycle driver to return to the city he grew up in.....well...."grew up" in. You see, this wasn't his real life. It was the life of someone else, he just happened to have his memories. The memories of Will Richardson. His name now? Sam Conners. He was and IS the clone of the hero, Spider-Man. The fact that he came back after being gone for a year, was a surprise to him. Especially since he hung up his own web shooters and costume as far as he was concerned. Sure he carried the mask around to use as a rag, but his suit? He had no idea if it was in the dumpster or burned or what happened. In all honesty, he didn't care. Or did he? Now that he was back in the concrete jungle he'd swing through..... again those memories popped into his mind. When Sam checked the time, it was 6:48 pm. He could get to his apartment and think about what he should do later. But in his mind he wondered.... should he come back as the Scarlet Spider, after his failure to save the love of his life? Or should he stop all together? He saw some crimes here and there, and his instincts started to tingle. His instinct to help people. To be a hero for people in need. Even if Fisk was almost entirely out of office, and a better mayor was now in, there was still crime in New York. Especially since Fisk was still free. But thanks to Will, and apparently many other heroes in the city, it seemed like New York was finally free of the oppression and tyrannical rule of Fisk. So all Sam really needed....was a sign that he was needed again as the Scarlet Spider.

Meanwhile, high in the sky, a figure whooshed past people who were staring out at the sunset out in their balcony, scaring them. However, the figure was not alone. The figure itself was being chased by soldiers in green cladded armor, guns and blasters. Even worse, whoever these men are shooting at, or whatever they were shooting at, was narrowly evading the attacks. But this figure was definitely afraid for their life, trying desperately to fly away with the strange wings on their back. "I have to find him.....only he can help me.....to find my mother......" The bat winged being said out loud while trying to escape their pursuers.

The green suited soldiers flew on their vehicles, aiming their rifles at the being. They were definitely ready to fire their weapons at the flying person. "Target acquired. Fire when ready." One of them call out to his fellow soldier. As the one with the weapon took aim, he could see the target bob and weave away to avoid getting hit. Unfortunately, it didn't help their target, since they shot the creature's wing.

As the target was tumbling in the air, the bat winged being started to wonder if this was how they were going to die. No one to rescue her, unable to find their mom, an injured wing, afraid and alone in a place they didn't recognize. What a nightmarish, disastrous and this would be. All the being wanted was a miracle. A sign that someone would be there, and able to save them.

Back in the streets of Harlem, the red haired clone was on his motorcycle, stopped in the middle of the street while lost in deep thought. Thought about what he should do with himself. While he continued to search for an answer to his never ending question. Should the Scarlet Spider return and stay? Would he even be needed anymore? As the thoughts raced through his mind, he could feel his spider sense going off. He then turned his attention to something headed in his direction. He couldn't tell exactly who it was, but he could tell it was a person. As the figure got closer, Sam felt the person crash into him and his bike. With this, Sam's bike crashed into an old tree, damaging it to an unknown fate. As of now, he didn't know if it was damaged beyond repair or not. "Oh no.....my bike is totally trashed......" He mumbled in disappointment at the incident in front of him. But as soon as he heard a light groan of pain, he turned his attention to what hit him. He then ran over to whoever it was, eyes filled with worry for the individual and kneeled down. "Are you alright??? What happe-"

Immediately, the being's first instinct was to slink away in the corner and try to hide. Fear in the being's eyes, one eye blue as the oceans, and one green as the lush trees in the forest. The individual then tried to cover their face with their hands and wings to show fear. Light trembles were just visible from how scared they were.
