as the cast was now looking, reading, and reviewing the newly written script, it could be said they were pleased.
well, some don't.
" damn...we've got a hell of a script on our hands. " kana mentioned.
" they scraped off most the exposition... "
" and forces us to convey the story with just our movements in several scenes. "
" this is insanely awesome. " y/n mumbled looking at her own script.
" it's as if the script made a killer pass to give us actors a clear shot on goal. " kana stated. " it'll be entirely our fault if we don't score. what a reckless play... "
in the past days between the problem of goa and abiko, rehearsals were temporarily stopped before and at the same time, the problem was getting better and being resolved.
in the end, the two, goa and abiko, wrote a new script happily. the new script brought out the cast's acting ability, making both akane and kana happy.
rehearsals officially reopen!
after many ups and downs, the conflict between the mangaka and the scriptwriter has come to an end.
" ah, this very fascinating, huh? " y/n said to herself, her character, akira was rather an emotionless fella that showed emotions lovely and likes her boss, which is akane.
" ugh, can't back out now. " she mumbled to herself.
" this is a good chance to settle who lala lai's top actor really is. " the lala lai's folks were very excited about the new script.
however...
" this can't be for real! i don't think i can do this. " melt said crying. " only half a month to rehearse...there's seriously no way... "
" well, it's probably no big deal for you. " melt commented, saying to aqua.
" actually, i'm not so sure about that. " aqua replied.
as the rehearsal started, y/n need to suffer at least 25 minutes touching and talking to akane in the act. y/n crossed her arms watching akane's and aqua's final scene and as they mentioned it was the climax.
she sighed and rested her hands in a thinking position, thinking about what will happen next according to the manga but no vail.
' that's rare... ' she thought before looking at the scene again.
" cut. " toshiro cited.
" touki, this is where you're supposed to shine. put more feeling into it! " toshiro mentioned.
" i'm sorry. " aqua replied.
" this is the climax. they're in the middle of battle and sayhime has been seriously wounded. touki falls into despair. " toshiro started explaining what was in the script.
" but when he sees sayahime miraculously opening her eyes...what does touki feel at the moment? " toshiro asked.
" relief...elation and hope...i would think. " aqua replied.
" right. you're acting according to the manga quite well. but... " toshiro said, resting a hand on his chin, " you need to be even more expressive here to convey touki's feelings to the audience. "
" show more emotion. this scene calls for emotional acting. " toshiro mentioned sternly.
as that ended y/n sighed and stood up, turning around to take a break for a while. as the bickering could be heard for a few more seconds even on the other side, she just sighed a grabbed two water bottles, one for her and one for aqua.
y/n hummed, entering the rehearsal studio again to give water to aqua and talk to him. but sudden wide eyes and worry rushed through her veins when aqua was covering his mouth with the palms of his hands, looking like someone was dragging him down.
the water bottles were quickly dropped on the floor which made attention was put on her.
but she ignored it quickly, " aqua...! "
she hurriedly rushed to his side, patting his back in an attempt to comfort him.
" what the fuck did you guys do?! " y/n shouted furiously looking at both kana and akane, which made the two shriek at the sudden rise of voice.
" we didn— "
" i'm fine...it's just a bit of vertigo. " aqua suddenly spoke, his hand still covering his face while the other was resting on y/n's shoulder to attempt to also calm her down.
y/n shook her head aggressively as her eyebrows met both worry and irritation, " you aren't fine. not at all. "
" do you mind if i rest a bit until i calm down? " aqua said standing up a bit and making y/n support his balance, before heading towards a closed room.
" hey...! damn it. " y/n called out cursed under her breath, and followed him, quickly entering the room and closing the door.
the people in the room can't mutter even a small word about what just happened when akane watched the scenario.
" i'll follow them. " akane announced and was about to walk when kana stopped her.
" don't. y/n can handle this more than you can. " kana said truthfully which made akane frown.
" y/n? really? i'm the girlfriend here! " akane said.
" and? so? you are just her girlfriend for work, darling. " kana said sternly whispering in her ear before letting her wrist go and turning around.
kana left that area which made akane clutch her hands into a fist and look at the ground slightly embarrassed and very furious expression.
on the other side, y/n was sitting next to aqua, hugging her knees close to her while not caring to remove her sight from him.
" are you okay? uh, of course not, idiot. " y/n scolded herself and sighed.
" let me rephrase that, do you feel more okay now? " y/n asked as aqua rested his head on her shoulder as y/n continued to rest the cold water bottle on his forehead.
" kinda. " he answered shortly which made y/n sigh worriedly.
" uhm, do you want to go home for a while? " y/n suggested making aqua stay quiet for a while before slowly nodding.
" do you want me to call someone or something? "
