Y/n's POV

Today was the day.

The day I was going to tell Luis that I liked him but it was the game which we did win and when I was trying to find Luis I saw him kissing Mindy and he saw me and Rick he and I quote said: "It was our little secret". Which hurt but Luis and I weren't together at all so what can I do nothing much. 

Me and Rick just walked away at that point. And then he started talking to me "What if we get them back" he said. "Rick, if you're insinuating we get together just to make them mad I will not agree to that," I said. Just because it happened to me like I said Luis and I weren't together I can't do much about it because there's no point. "Look I feel bad for you because yes you definitely did just get cheated on but me and him weren't together," I said

"Still y/n we all knew you liked Luis it was pretty," he said thinking about it now he isn't lying in pretty sure Luis knew too but I still don't want to get revenge because there's no point. "You're right I'm 100 percent sure Luis knew too but like I said before we were never anything," I said trying not to think about it more because it did hurt. I leave the conversation as that and go home.

Luis POV
So I heard y/n liked me but I didn't care because I only see her as a friend and I wanted Mindy since I saw her. So I texted y/n about it because I don't want her to be hurt. Yes, y/n is pretty and everything but I have never seen her more than a friend.

Hey y/n

Oh hi, Luis what's up?

Oh so I wanted to talk to you about what happened earlier
Y/n I know you like me but I'm with Mindy
I wanted to be with her since I saw her you know that because you're my best friend

                                                             I know Luis that's why I never told you because I knew it would mess up our friendship

Y/n I think we should spend less time together.
I think you need to get over your crush on me and then we can be friends

Y/n's POV
Well, I guess we aren't friends anymore but I know practice is going to be so awkward. But what can I do he said not to talk to him no more.

*A few months later*

I walked into the locker room and he wasn't there thank god. The last couple of months have been awkward. But he wanted this so I can't do much. "Hey guys," I said with relief "Hey y/n" they replied. "Have you heard there's a new guy who's going to be coming to school and he's good at hockey" Dean said

"Another guy why couldn't it have been another girl," I said laughing. "Well from what I heard most of the girls say I heard he's fine," Julie says while Adam and Dean stared at her. "Oh, how fine," I said "Well I can't tell you that all I know is he has tattoos and his name is Axel," she says while laughing because she feels the stares from both Adam and Dean.

"Hey guys what's up" we heard a voice say. "Oh hey Luis," Connie says. "We are just talking about the new guy that's joining the school and team," she said. "Wait a new guy? I haven't heard of a new guy coming," he says, and Julie responds with "Yeah it just came out today about it because I heard some girls saying Luis is going to have some competition" she says.
