It was already dusk, everything cloudy but it was still possible to see a little daylight, despite there being no one on the street due to the light rain that was falling. The only thing on the street was a car near a public restroom.

Sadness was visible in Annie Martu's eyes, she was never a holy person, she dropped out of school at a very young age, got involved with dangerous people, had to commit crimes and many other things that she regretted. But looking at the feeling of joy that existed within her, she knew it wasn't a mistake.

Arthur: Annie, are you ready?

She looked at her partner Arthur.

He put this inside her, she met him at a party and the two ended up getting along more than they should have, she always relied on his intelligence, never questioned anything he said, but this, this was too much for her

He put this inside her, she met him at a party and the two ended up getting along more than they should have, she always relied on his intelligence, never questioned anything he said, but this, this was too much for her. She took one more look at the backseat, the teddy bear she had bought a little while ago was there, staring at her in judgment. She didn't want to, but it was the best thing to do. At least that's what Arthur promised.

Annie: Yes.

She got out of the car and went to the bathroom.

*Timeskip hours later*

The basket was left in front of the orphanage, a young newborn boy was left with only a note on top of him.

"Please take care of my little one (y/n), I can't take care of him. Give him the life I can't."

Annie and Arthur were back in the "apartment" they both lived in. Annie lay down on the mattress that was lying on the floor, with tears in her eyes, her heart aching and her body more than tired, hugging tightly the teddy bear, the only memory of his son that he had to abandon., Arthur entered the room and lay down beside her and began to run his hand through her hair, trying to comfort her and with a little hope that maybe he could win something as a reward for his good deed.

Annie: Leave me alone, please.

Arthur: Annie, it's no use crying that was the best thing to do, being alone and crying won't solve it.
