TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS WHOLE BOOK!

I look through my bag. It was the middle of the school day and I could feel myself slowly coming back to reality.

"No. No. No. No." I mutter to myself while I look through my bag. I couldn't find anything. The girl next to me look at me and then looked back at the teacher, slowly raising her hand.

"Ma'am..."

I sighed and put my bag on the floor. There wasn't anything in there. She could tell on me all she wanted to.

"Yes, Clara?"

"I think Remington has something he isn't supposed to have in his bag."

I groan and glare at the girl. She always did this when I was looking in my bag for something. It could be anything and she would assume it was something bad.

"Clara, honey, we've checked his bag twice this week because you thought he had something in his bag. You can't keep doing this."

I smirk when the teacher walked away. I put my hand in my pocket to look for my phone but found what I was looking for in my bag. I pull out the small baggy and showed it to Clara. She glared and quickly rose her hand as I put the gummy in my mouth. The teacher came back, slightly annoyed this time.

"Yes?"

"Remington ate it! I saw him eat the gummy!"

I sighed and opened my mouth once I knew the gummy was gone. "I didn't eat anything ma'am." I smirk at Clara as the teacher walked away. The bell soon rang and I stud up, feeling slightly dizzy.

I grabbed my stuff and put it in my bag before heading to lunch. On my way there, I felt an arm snake around my shoulder. I groan and look at Jake. He smirked at me and pulled me close.

"Hey, bitch. Ready to eat?"

"I'm not going to eat. I'm going to the library."

Jake laughed and shook his head. He grabbed my bag and looking inside it. He found an apple my brother left in there for me. He took a bite from it and took the piece out of his mouth and put it in my mouth. I try to move my head but it forced it in my mouth.

"Leave me alone."

He laughed and let go of me but I stumbled and fell. He laughed and kicked my side before throwing my bag at me and walking away. I just stayed there. Soon, my youngest brother found me and helped me up. He picked up my bag and smiled at me slightly.

"Did Jake do this to you?" I shrug and start to walk. He grabbed my arm and looked into my eyes. He glared at me and then smacked me. "You're high again? At school? What the fuck is wrong with you?"

I bit my lip and looked at floor. What's wrong with me? I would like to know that. I'm so fucked up. So many people hate me and make me do so many things and I don't even know them. All I know is that I am broken. She made me like this. If it wasn't for her, I would be fine.

I turn my head and start walking. I walk passed the lunch room and walked faster when I heard Emerson start to catch up to me. I walk passed the music hallway and walk out of the school. I walked down my neighborhood and start walking home. I don't want to be at school so I might as well skip.

As I walk to my house, I notice a moving truck in front of the house across the street. I didn't want to talk to them so I quickly make my way to my door, only to be greeted by a stranger.

"Oh, hello. Do you live here?"

It was guy around my age, maybe a little older. He was tall and hot. I blushed and nod.
