Clark Kent Academy was founded by Clarkson Kentwood Jr. a professor and head researcher in early neurology discoveries. The school was built in the heart of Chicago before World War 2 even started and stood as one of the top men's private academies. Though when America decided to join World War 2, most of the upper-level boys left to join the military. Many of the boys' now young men tragically perished throughout World War 2 as well as more followed suit in the war between both North and South Korea and later the Vietnam War. As Clark Kent Academy was slowly decreasing in attendance and lost many students to the wars, before he retired at the age of 65, Clarkson allowed the girls living in Chicago to be well educated at the school instead of them always working in the factories. Thus Clark Kent Academy merged from being a general male private academy into a co-ed academy in the late 70s. Clark Kent Academy has over 8 buildings for various subjects such as buildings for Science, Mathematics, English, Art and Ceramics, and Performing Arts, as well as Physical Education and Humanities/Political Sciences. In addition to the school, Clark Kent has 2 dormitories hosting rooms for girls in one and boys in the other separated by the many buildings, and its multipurpose Performing Arts center is used for entertainment from the students in the middle of the academies campus.
Krystal Hedstrom with her brunette tip-dyed pink hair in a high ponytail at a height of 5'1 her slender body fitting her outfit in which she was wearing a pink and white patterned shirt underneath a padded long sleeve black and dark pink designer sweater with a long light red zipper skirt as well wearing her newly bought DSW white Park Street Adidas fashion sneakers strode out of the administration office on the right side of campus, her stress of not being accepted because of her school records from the various schools she was expelled from weighing less as she lifted herself by the on-looking traffic of students of different ages and cultural races. Many of the students were walking across the halls of Clark Kent, chatting and making jokes with each other, as well as some were getting their books and other resources from the lockers on both ends. After many years of the Hedstrom family moving around 2 different states, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Krystal's father had finally relented enough stress with her behavior from every school she went to. They moved into a very nice complex 10 minutes away from Clark Kent. Krystal asks the school's headmaster if she could be placed in the girl's dormitories instead of having to get up early as well as leave early to walk to and from campus from home. Seeing as they had an extra dorm for a single person they allowed her to use that one to live from while she was there at Clark Kent. Whether or not Krystal was expelled from this last school, she was nervous. So nervous she was like a deer blasted by the headlights of a moving vehicle. To herself, this was her only chance at making her parental figure somewhat proud. Her father, Carl Hedstrom on the other hand was an ambitious yet greedy man. At the age of 35, he divorced Krystal's biological mother and replaced her with a not-so-intelligent prostitute from a local strip bar across the street from her family's apartment complex. Carl himself could care less of Krystal and her well-being, as his ex-wife though a kind individual with a spark of common sense, tried to teach Krystal how to have better behavior when she got expelled. As always, Krystal's father only wanted her to marry a rich man and have himself live off of the wealth she would either inherit or give to him.
Getting comfortable with her surroundings, Krystal began moving toward her new locker at the end of the crowded hall. Oddly enough, when she got to the locker, she stood there unamused at how it looked. Her locker was a beige blue with a black coded lock that only she could open with the code in hand. Krystal starts to use the dial going from one number to the next concentrating on unlocking her locker till she hears a tiny click. Her lock then releases its hold onto the door and she opens her locker for the first time. The locker inside was a bit cramped with a few dents probably from the former students who used the locker before her. She places her unnecessary books inside all neat and clean and only keeps her English textbook as well as a binder filled with empty pages for notes in her hands. As Krystal closes her locker shut and places back the locker code to keep her books safe, she moves towards her English class on the second floor of the building. Krystal with a few minutes to spare before her class starts climbs the rugged staircase leading up to the second floor of the Clark Kent Academy English building. As she drags her feet up the stairs Krystal with her focus on her book bag unknowingly misses a step and starts to fumble around. She wobbles back and forth, her shoes moving uncontrollably down the steps until she hits a person in the back with her head pushed into them.
