Isabel Conklin was always what everyone seen not me her twin sister. I was always in the background in bellys shadow no matter what I did I wasn't noticed and I got so used to it that I had started to rebel in a way no one noticed the things I was doing not even my own mom. I had gotten away with a lot of stuff until one night when I tried stealing a joint from my older brother Steven and got caught by conrad.
Let me tell you a little bit about conrad fisher he's the older brother of Jeremiah fisher. Conrad is a hard person to get close with but I guess when your family friends your forced to get close. The older we got the more my crush on conrad grew but so did bellys. Belly likes anything that gives her attention and she's been getting a lot of it from conrad and Jeremiah the last few years. But enough about that I'm sure you all are wondering about the original story of how I got caught by conrad tbh I'm still embarrassed about that story I mean it was last summer but still.

*last summer*

It was July 4th and everyone was outside Watching fireworks or so everyone thought. There was one person in the house and that one person was y/n she was snooping through her brothers bed side table trying to find a joint to smoke in the front yard while everyone else was in the back watching fireworks and if she was lucky maybe she could swipe on of mr.fishers beers as well without anyone seeing conrad had snuck in the house to find the youngest Conklin being a few years younger than Steven and a few minutes younger than belly when he made it up the stairs he heard her talking in Steven's room so he snuck up on her and stood in the doorway watching trying to see what she was doing.
Y/n- HA there it is *holding a perfectly rolled joint*
Conrad- there what is y/n?
He had startled the girl as she jumps a little she slowly turns around with the joint In her hand
Y/n- heyyyyyy con
Conrad had stared at her noticing the joint in her hand but the feeling he got when she said the nickname she gave him didn't go unnoticed either.
Conrad- why do you have one of your brothers joints?
The girl stayed quiet watching the boy's movement as he pushes his self off the doorframe and makes his way towards her soon he stood in front of her looking down at her
Conrad- I'm only gonna ask one more time y/n why do you have one of your brothers joints?
The girl thought hard and came up with a lie
Y/n- oh Steven told me to get him one
Conrad gave her a look, a look that showed he knew she was lying
Conrad- no he didn't he's out with shayla meeting her family so your lying
The girl quietly cursed herself but thought of something else
Y/n- it's for jere and belly they wanted to share one?
She mentally cursed herself for making it sound like a question more than a awnser and she could tell the boy was getting fed up with her lies
Conrad- you know jere quit and belly dosent smoke so stop lying and tell me who's it really for.
The girl was shocked a little that he had raised his voice so quick
Y/n- fine its for me I was hoping that since everyone was out back watching fireworks I could sit on the front lawn and smoke
Conrad looked at her with a look she couldn't point out
Conrad- why, why are you smoking
The girl just looked down
Y/n- I got bored and stole on of Steven's joints a few summers ago and decided to smoke it I've been doing it ever since
The boy looked at her with a sad look
Conrad- I should've known I seen you acting out and doing things you normally wouldn't but why baby?
The girl looked at him her heart folding at the mention of the nickname he gave her
Y/n- because I could get away with it since no one ever pays attention to me they only pay attention to belly I was actually hoping that when I started acting out someone would notice but no one did so it basically just became a new norm for me
Conrad looked at the girl with and sighed knowing he needed to tell her
Conrad-i noticed I always noticed you I mean yeah I'm closer with belly but I never really noticed her the way I noticed you, I could always tell when something was off but belly wanted me to hang out with her so much I never got a chance to talk to you about it.
The girl didn't know what to say but whay she did say she soon wish she hadn't
Y/n- I like you
She soon slapped her hand over mouth and the boy chuckled
Conrad- hey its ok I like you to
Y/n was stunned
Y/n- I thought you liked belly
Conrad laughed and shook his head
Conrad- no God no shes to preppy and way to up beat for me but she's a perfect match for jere
The girl laughed and agreed
Y/n- I like you and you like me so now what?
Conrad looked at her and leaned in
Conrad- I ask you to be my girlfriend and then I kiss you
The girl sucked in a breath as conrad opened his mouth to ask her to be his girlfriend but the moment was cut short when the door slammed open.
